Glad I made the right choice yesterday... it was buy SOU or SOLO... bought solo.

adeyberry - 20 Oct 2009 20:59 - 22 of 523

You may just regret that decision!

Balerboy - 20 Oct 2009 22:03 - 23 of 523

I agree at the mo as solo has gone down, but which has the better prospects, will wait and see but your probably right.

13 January 2011
For Immediate Release

SOUND OIL PLC

("Sound" or the "Company")

Operations Update - Citarum Production Sharing Contract ("PSC"), Java, Indonesia

Sound has been advised by the operator of Citarum PSC that the drilling programme of three exploration commitment wells originally planned to start in March 2011 will now not commence until the third quarter of 2011. In spite of this delay Sound is confident that the wells will be drilled within the extended first exploration period of the PSC.

Commenting on this situation Gerry Orbell, Chairman and CEO said:

"Although there will be a short delay we are very much looking forward to these Citarum wells. They will explore significant prospective resources in a new play in a well- established area of oil and gas production."

Sound Oil plc is a 20% shareholder (through its wholly owned subsidiary Mitra Energia Citarum Limited) in the Citarum PSC.
