Fronterares super newcomer (FRR)

required field - 18 Dec 2007 08:22

This is another possible incredible winner, Could double all of a sudden, depending
on flows and future discoveries, better send off those (Wben) forms now as
this is an American Stock traded on Aim.

Thanks porky and Mr Turbot, I think they have 2 rigs drilling at the same time, so there should be quite a bit of information coming shortly.

halifax - 23 Jan 2008 23:26 - 13 of 202

Are we being suckered into this one.

required field - 24 Jan 2008 08:14 - 14 of 202

If we are I'm already one !

required field - 24 Jan 2008 08:52 - 15 of 202

Most RNS's are issued at 7 AM, but the occasional one towards close of day in London, I'm just hoping that good news is on the way, and that I might be watching when the info filters through. With 2 oilfields there really should be something positive in the next 10 days.

1 barrier now broken, nearly stock of the month I would suggest !

required field - 29 Jan 2008 20:54 - 17 of 202

Probably in the top best 5 risers during January, long may it continue, an update must be coming soon, I never expected such a sharp rise before news, though this does look very promising.

Evil Knievil still going long (don't know whether he means shares or cfd's or bet spreads, ) so am I (not in his league though), praying for a good update, otherwise will get my fingers burnt though I'm in for the long haul ! , (must say this stock fascinates me, a bit unusual ).

required field - 03 Feb 2008 14:09 - 19 of 202

I have just logged on to their website, (well worth a look), there could be some very good news coming soon, fingers crossed !

required field - 03 Feb 2008 14:20 - 20 of 202

Probably at this stage : it is best to hold the shares themselves than cfd's or bet spreads (risky, if delays... could drop back 20p or so), but then again if the info given by this company is anything to go buy ...welll ...the sky is the limit, could take off like VOG did (sigh ! those were the days !); Evil Knievil is starting to get excited, if this comes right big time I will have to pinch myself to believe it !, (had a lot of bad luck, the last few years, so many smaller oil companies have disappointed,) perhaps I might strike lucky with this one, cheers !

This next week : could be the week when we get some news, just praying that it will be good, don't have the cfd's or spread bets which would be crazy if it goes pearshaped (funny expression), but hold plenty of the shares themselves, and it really does look like a great little oil stock, could be some delays though but I'm prepared to wait, (seems to me that apart from a couple of other bloggers I'm the only one here !).

halifax - 09 Feb 2008 00:04 - 23 of 202

I'snt this one of EK's longs.Enough said.

tiger100 - 09 Feb 2008 09:14 - 24 of 202

what are wben forms, many thanks.also plenty of comments about frr on proactive investors web site.

required field - 09 Feb 2008 09:48 - 25 of 202

I think it's called a Wben form : I have signed one, it's to do with american tax, if FRR gave a dividend : you would have to pay american tax, brokers will not allow you to buy or sell this stock unless you have signed one, it doesn't cost anything and can be downloaded from a brokers website, the only thing is that it takes up to a week to process, so if you are interested in purchasing this stock you had better get a move on !

required field - 09 Feb 2008 10:15 - 26 of 202

halifax : we have 2 oil fields to fall back on here if just one of them the Taribani comes right that will support the sp, if the Basin Edge play comes right well...the sky is the limit, short term it could go to 3 or 4 Pounds, so yes there is risk but the Taribani field should prevent disaster... now the question is : is it worth buying a position in FRR, well my answer is : yes, but I would not consider CFD's or Spread bets at this stage, at the moment this looks like a better bet than VOG did at the start 2 years ago and that's saying something, good luck all, it would be wonderful if this smaller oil company struck something big !, it would make news headlines across the financial world.

halifax - 09 Feb 2008 10:33 - 27 of 202

I may well be wrong but having read the latest and older Operations reports FRR have yet to confirm the actual discovery of oil.

required field - 09 Feb 2008 10:51 - 28 of 202

They have encountered hydrocarbon shows on the lloyd 1 well (Basin edge play) and with the Taribani wells have completed two wells and have drilled into reservoirs bearing oil (Zone No9) at the T 45 well. The exact form needed is W8-ben, but you must ring them first to make sure that you are sending off the right one.

tiger100 - 10 Feb 2008 10:42 - 29 of 202

thanks for the info,i have thirty thousand invested in frr and 10k in nop and 20 k in itn.just hope everyone makes a lot of money on frr.

required field - 17 Feb 2008 16:30 - 30 of 202

Could this be the week when we get some news ?, nearly 2 months since last update !

required field - 19 Feb 2008 08:48 - 31 of 202

News at long last, problems with drilling, but the targets are still there, those not in might buy now as sp reacted to delays, not the time to sell !
