Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

It is interesting to me that Cameron and Osborne are summering abroad, while he preaches to the unemployed that they should be working harder for less.
Perhaps, they can't get back through customs.
But, from the last 18mths of coalition government, it is better that they stay where they are.
How much is the police London budget be cut for the coming 2years?
Fascinating that Osborne is telling EC to sort out their economic problems, with the cursory note that it is their problem.
He is unreal!

Petrol Prices Set To Fall As Oil Cost Tumbles
Sky News 2011, 17:28, Monday 8 August 2011
Petrol prices are expected to fall in coming days after stock market falls and global recession fears saw oil costs slip.
Asda (NYSE: WMT - news) has already said it will cut prices by up to 2p a litre at its 188 filling stations from Tuesday, with other supermarkets likely to follow suit.
The supermarket has told customers they won't pay more than 132.7p per litre for unleaded and 136.7p for diesel.
"We expect our rivals to follow - but unlike them we set and publish a maximum national price cap," Asda said.
On Monday, Brent crude fell by over 3% to $105 a barrel, on the back of the blow to investor confidence dealt by the US credit rating downgrade.
Petrol prices last fell in June, when the International Energy Agency opened emergency reserves.
Analysts say the fall in oil price this time is due to falling investor confidence over economic growth following the first-ever downgrade of America's debt rating.
Lower economic growth worldwide will mean less demand for oil.
The AA's Paul Watters welcomed Asda's decision to cut prices but warned that stock market speculators could quickly drive the price of oil back up.
He added: "The AA says drivers deserve a longer respite from near-record fuel prices during the holiday period, but nobody should underestimate the ability of so-called 'sentiment' in the commodity markets to drive prices back up again."
The AA notes that the average cost of unleaded

I wonder how many of these 'socially networked' rioters would think twice if the police weren't forced to be so liberal.
Cue Greek ........

Police are facing gangs of masked and hooded youths armed with petrol bombs and metal poles wreaking chaos on this, the third night of violence ripping through the capitals streets.
Attacks began in Hackney, east London, this afternoon when rioters began throwing missiles at officers and setting bins and cars alight.
Within half an hour, rioting had begun in Lewisham, Peckham and Deptford.
And now, infernos are burning through cars and buildings on the streets of Croydon, Harlesden and in Birmingham.
Rioting has also now began on the streets of Redhill in Surrey.
The Metropolitan Police are calling in extra officers from neighbouring counties to help deal with the escalating situation and urging parents with children living in London and Birmingham make sure they have not been caught up in the violence.
In addition, Prime Minister David Cameron and Boris Johnson Mayor of London are returning from their summer vacations ahead of schedule.
Early this evening people travelling through Hackney on their way home from work were ejected from a bus when about 50 masked, armed youths surrounded it.
Hooded youths hurled missiles at police officers in the area while gangs attacked shops and set cars parked outside Lewisham Town Hall on fire.
In Peckham Rye, south London, a number of shops have been damaged by rioters and a bus was set alight.
Meanwhile, officers are stationed in roads in Harlesden and Kilburn High Street has been closed off.
Shopkeepers in many areas of London shut up early to avoid violent gangs and windows in Stratford and Islington have been boarded to deter looters.
Home Secretary Theresa May condemned chaotic scenes while Scotland Yard beefed up its presence before looting and violence spiralled out of control for a third consecutive night.
In addition Scotland Yard is urging people to stay in their homes.
At least 215 people have been arrested and 25 charged following the riots across London over the last two days.

The mindless violence of these criminal thugs is an indictment of the previous Labour government. The kids that are burning and looting grew up almost entirely under Labour and in Labour controlled boroughs..

As a Police Officer you are bound to take people as they look.
I could often see someone yards away and think, I bet they have a CRO (Criminal Record Offense Number) and 9 times out of 10 I would be right. This is human nature, as we all make views on first impressions.
The main thing is we must always remember that there are many exceptions. My son has a friend who dyes his hair a different colour about once a month, he wears bother boy clothes, and has tatts and earing's. He is one of the nicest, well mannered people I have ever met, and holds a masters in micro bionics (whatever that is) and is sent by his firm to countries all over the world to lecture and advise on the subject.
So if it looks like a duck (yob), walks like a duck (yob) and sounds like a duck (yob), it's very probably a duck (yob), but sometimes you do see it wrong and it might just not be a duck (yob).

I have to say that if I was a shop keeper,.....I would have no hesitation in shooting dead any of these complete rioting morons that are wrecking our suburbs......bring the army in.....no excuses for this intolerable behavior....they might be angry but this is not the way to go about showing frustration at unemployment and such...first shot in the air...second one....etc....
