I dont get much time for fishing now that I work away from home. As today is my last working day until 2nd Jan I intend to do some fishing next week, whatever the weather.

I've not been fishing for ages, although I've kept all my gear.

I might make the effort next year seen as I'm only a 5 minute walk away from the river.

Ah, I know it well. Used to do a lot of fishing in my youth at Broxbourne and Cheshunt. Also fished by the Lee Valley park and around ware.

Dust off that tackle and give it a go.
