Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

jeffmack - 20 Dec 2006 13:04 - 12123 of 24230

Ah, I know it well. Used to do a lot of fishing in my youth at Broxbourne and Cheshunt. Also fished by the Lee Valley park and around ware.

Dust off that tackle and give it a go.

Fundamentalist - 20 Dec 2006 14:27 - 12124 of 24230

How small a world it is Jeffie - lived most of my life in Broxbourne

Socrates - 20 Dec 2006 15:29 - 12125 of 24230

I've never even heard of Broxbourne, must have missed out somewhere.

Just got home from a brisk walk to Cheltenham and back, foggy, damp and cold. Roll on some nice warm snow.

This_is_me - 20 Dec 2006 17:03 - 12126 of 24230

I think Hilary would look much better in topless beach wear than ski wear.

Socrates - 21 Dec 2006 08:36 - 12127 of 24230

Oops, I've lost count! Oh, whatever.

Socrates - 21 Dec 2006 09:08 - 12128 of 24230

If anyone is feeling peckish, I've some ham and eggs on the go. Sauces optional, coffee percolator is bubbling merrily.

KEAYDIAN - 21 Dec 2006 09:53 - 12129 of 24230

Sounds champion, can I have my eggs on top.

optomistic - 21 Dec 2006 09:56 - 12130 of 24230

That would make a mess of the merry percolator!

Socrates - 21 Dec 2006 10:03 - 12131 of 24230

Gosh! I was beginning to think that everyone had emigrated. Good morning both.

I've been a rash Socco today, sold VOD and bought BT.A. I don't know what came over me!

stockbunny - 21 Dec 2006 10:05 - 12132 of 24230

Morning chaps, screen watching and doing chores at the same time so back and forth, quick cuppa....
:>)

optomistic - 21 Dec 2006 10:09 - 12133 of 24230

It's part of retirement Socco, you have to do something so you start making money (theoretically)

Socrates - 21 Dec 2006 10:13 - 12134 of 24230

Opto
That sounds like a good scheme, maybe I'll retire soon.

jeffmack - 21 Dec 2006 12:06 - 12135 of 24230

Shops are mobbed.

stockbunny - 21 Dec 2006 12:08 - 12136 of 24230

Pretty quiet when I went yesterday JM mind you it was early was back by 11am.

Socrates - 22 Dec 2006 08:25 - 12137 of 24230

One less day to go, completely lost count now. Senior moment perhaps?

stockbunny - 22 Dec 2006 08:27 - 12138 of 24230

Morning Socs :>)
Just in case I get caught up in doing things this morning - everyone have a great Christmas and a happy and healthy 2007 oh yes and hopefully a successfully profitable one :>)

Socrates - 22 Dec 2006 08:45 - 12139 of 24230

Good morning 'Bunny, foggy day here once more. Keep the warren entrance closed up and stay nice and warm.

optomistic - 22 Dec 2006 08:45 - 12140 of 24230

Morning all,
Won't be around here for long this morning so like Bunny I wish you all a good Festive Season .....etc :-)

Socrates - 22 Dec 2006 10:54 - 12141 of 24230

Oh dear, I have to go out into the cold and fog. Just because we need some food in the larder!

Socrates - 22 Dec 2006 13:54 - 12142 of 24230

I'm back. That was something of a scrum at Waitrose, I wish I was a partner. They must be thrilled to see so many people stocking up with goodies.
