Socrates - 23 Dec 2006 08:45 - 12144 of 24230

Good morning all, last minute jobs all on the go.

Hi Jeffmack, I will watch out for you.

jeffmack - 23 Dec 2006 10:17 - 12145 of 24230

Just back from Sainsburys, aisles 20 deep. Car park full, trollies full, tills full.

Socrates - 24 Dec 2006 09:22 - 12146 of 24230

Wallets empty!

Happy Christmas Eve everyone. Another dull day here in Cheltenham, but I guess Jeffers has already found that out. Off for a quick look at some shops later, nothing specific to buy but may just spot the bargain of the year. Might go for a boot fair to top it all off.

A few less days in the countdown now, tempus fugit!

jeffmack - 24 Dec 2006 21:49 - 12147 of 24230

Shops were not too bad Socs.

Socrates - 24 Dec 2006 22:16 - 12148 of 24230

Jeffmack
I went to one of the local trading estates and they were not too busy either. Lots of traffic though, I've no idea where it was all going.

jeffmack - 25 Dec 2006 08:49 - 12149 of 24230

Socrates - 25 Dec 2006 09:14 - 12150 of 24230

Happy Christmas all.

What's happening Jeffmack, that is either a whopper of a turkey or a very early dinner coming up.

chocolat - 25 Dec 2006 10:34 - 12151 of 24230

Socrates - 25 Dec 2006 13:17 - 12153 of 24230

Me and mine have opened our presents and the Christmas nosh is all cooking. It's a joint effort, I do most of the preparation, her-indoors does the cooking. Then we share the eating in more or less equal portions.

The great Christmas telephone marathon has commenced where we call all our relatives and give them our seasons greetings.

I could do with a drink, I'll make a pot of tea.

Socrates - 25 Dec 2006 19:29 - 12154 of 24230

I'll make another pot of tea.

jeffmack - 25 Dec 2006 19:49 - 12155 of 24230

Big Al - 25 Dec 2006 20:14 - 12156 of 24230

Haven't popped by here for some time.

Festive greetings one and all!

Spaceman - 25 Dec 2006 20:49 - 12157 of 24230

Hi Al, Happy xmas, hope you enjoyed your stay in Norwich earlier in the week, you should have popped in and said hi to my Mum, she is about 5 minutes from the airport.

Big Al - 25 Dec 2006 20:58 - 12158 of 24230

I'm sure the last thing your mum would've wanted was some pissed off rig guy strolling in Spacie! ;-)))

Mind you, it might have saved on the food and drink bill. LOL!

Spaceman - 25 Dec 2006 22:29 - 12159 of 24230

Al, you want to bet, she is only 73 pretty near your age isnt it ;-)

Big Al - 25 Dec 2006 22:58 - 12160 of 24230

Ah, older than my folks ...............................

............... which would make you older than me?!?!?!?!?!?!

;-))

Spaceman - 25 Dec 2006 23:01 - 12161 of 24230

Al, no chance I am only 28 ;-)

Socrates - 26 Dec 2006 09:49 - 12162 of 24230

Good morning on this fine Boxing Day. If anyone wants a quiet lunch I shall be preparing the traditional Boxing Day feast, cold turkey and other cold meats with bubble and squeak and pickles.

Happy days.

porky - 26 Dec 2006 10:56 - 12163 of 24230

Don`t forget the pickled walnuts.
