Looking back over some of the trades today, there was a 2.5m at 19p near close and also a 2.557m at 19p. Hmmm...

seawallwalker - 28 Oct 2004 16:55 - 1216 of 7811

someone wobbling????????

the 2.5m trades that is

proptrade - 28 Oct 2004 17:03 - 1217 of 7811

where was the 2.557?

gavdfc - 28 Oct 2004 17:06 - 1218 of 7811

Maybe SWW, but they will be in the price by now. I'm sure there will be buyers for them anyway!

So if we assume that the placing price is 17p, does anyone think that the sp will actually get there or near it, say 18. I don't know if it will. When PCI did their placing at 13, the sp never got there. Different circumstances I know but just curious.

Anyway, Go SEY!!! Couldn't resist!

Here's my best tip of the day.....get one of those cold sleeves (about 6.99 in the supermarkets) for the wine and it chills whilst your drinking it...ideal!!

seawallwalker - 28 Oct 2004 18:24 - 1220 of 7811

sandrew64 something else I have never thought of!

I begin to see a true genius in our midst.

sandrew64 - 28 Oct 2004 20:15 - 1221 of 7811

I wish!!!!

Thinking of you seaside dwellers as the rain pours down and the wind howls, hope the night passes ok. I live on Dartmoor so well away from the waves but not the wind!! I've always wanted a home right by the sea but now see the drawbacks--maybe the Bahamas might be best if SEY keeps going. Here's hoping for a good rise in SEY tomorrow.

It's nuts down here tonight. Wind howling ,sea raging, seaweed all over the roads.I don't know about you SWW but I'll be amazed if we've got much of a seawall left come morning!

seawallwalker - 28 Oct 2004 22:46 - 1224 of 7811

Well in the morning as I stare across the estuary,

I look at the sea which at high tide is higher than the land behind and think..........................................

That'll go one day!

Moneyplus , i live by the seaside in north wales , my mrs went to work last night she has to go over a bridge which goes over a river in rhuddlan {river clwyd}she told me she had never seen it that bad if you live along that way watch out, ruthin is always flooded . If your in to fishing,go to colwyn bay, there`s whiting & flat fish on the promenade and i am serious.

gavdfc - 29 Oct 2004 07:08 - 1229 of 7811

Morning all. Hope those of you suffering from storm damage are okay. Saw it on the news, looked pretty bad. Weather not too bad up here, raining a bit but could be worse.

hlyeo98 - 29 Oct 2004 07:48 - 1230 of 7811

It is quite refreshing this thread, everyone seems most pleasant, even if people have negative thoughts they are digested and answered in a most polite manner, long may it continue... Is is all the fine food and wine that is being consumed...

seawallwalker - 29 Oct 2004 08:00 - 1233 of 7811

That did not work sorry.
