happy christmas everyone i have opened my presents but i didnt have any so it was very easy spaceman isnt very well today so i am in charge at the moment dont worry he only has a cold but being a man he is acting as though it is something serious

Me and mine have opened our presents and the Christmas nosh is all cooking. It's a joint effort, I do most of the preparation, her-indoors does the cooking. Then we share the eating in more or less equal portions.

The great Christmas telephone marathon has commenced where we call all our relatives and give them our seasons greetings.

I could do with a drink, I'll make a pot of tea.

Hi Al, Happy xmas, hope you enjoyed your stay in Norwich earlier in the week, you should have popped in and said hi to my Mum, she is about 5 minutes from the airport.

I'm sure the last thing your mum would've wanted was some pissed off rig guy strolling in Spacie! ;-)))

Mind you, it might have saved on the food and drink bill. LOL!

Good morning on this fine Boxing Day. If anyone wants a quiet lunch I shall be preparing the traditional Boxing Day feast, cold turkey and other cold meats with bubble and squeak and pickles.

Don`t forget the pickled walnuts.

One cannot forget pickled walnuts, especially after eating them.

Oh well, back to work tomorrow, at least, just for a few days. 17 and counting!

Afternoon - post Christmas time, shop tills are supposed to be filling and the market is looking happy - so far LOL

OK flaming turkey wings on offer today as most other things seem to have got eaten in here over the holiday oh yes and a large tub of salted peanuts.
Guess we will be ordering a take away pizza in the coffee house for tea..

Salted peatnuts! pizza! .........what's happened to the healthy eating diet?
next we'll be compelled to eat white bread :-)

Just had a fried egg with baked beans and fish fingers and........ 2 slicess of white bread, for my lunch, it was yummy.

Now I am ready for a cup of tea and a mince pie !

salad drawer and fruit bowls totally empty, even the brussel sprouts are all eaten, fortunately we do have wholemeal bread so Spacie you've got no excuse!
