Why hasn't fried turkey steaks and Mr Kipling mince pies been added to the menu. Who runs this bloody place? ;-))))))))

The place has changed since you were around, there is a virtual menu and everything is available. Sometimes we run out if there is a run on a particular menu selection but there should be no trouble with Mr Kipling mince pies or fried turkey steaks, especially after Christmas when we all suffer from a surfeit of such items.

Lovely. A nice lie in this morning, must get into practice for retirement. Start the day right, anyone else want a FEB, I'll get the grill on. Tea's up.

We're all over here, getting quite cosy considering the weather. I think though that I shall adjourn to the lounge as I lit a big log fire in that old 16th century fireplace. I've also got some toasting forks and a bag full of crumpets, anyone interested?

Take that crumpet off me immediately and stick it on the toasting fork where it belongs. Jam aplenty, what ever flavour you like. The rhubarb is quite good.

Calm before the storm here by the looks of it. Forecast for Hogmanay celebrations in Edinburgh not too good.

OK, mulled wine is warming .... hot food will be served all day.... make it a good one!

First day that I have felt completely well since xmas eve, unfortunately mrs S now seems to have the cold (sorry bad flu) that I had.

We even have a bit of sun here in Hastings at the moment, I was starting to think that we wouldnt not see the sun again after about 7 days of dull gray overcast sky.

Just in case I dont make it in here again in 2006....
