nice to see matalan moving forward at least the share price,as a recent buyer at 1.59 in febuary.

good morning all a late start today ,,no newspapers of yet,whoops.

well still holding up and no mass sell off,,,,,,,has to be a good sign .

i here its about to warm up again,some news on the horizon.

well what a strange weekend lack of press stories either way . today it has put on a bit of weight this morning,,not much,,and there seems to be a few private investors selling,,so thats a good sign i think!!!!!!

I saw an article in the Times over the weekend, speculating on a takeover, Asda and Wal Mart separately issued denials.

seawall,i did see the article,its rumor after rumor at the moment.it owe`s me nothing up about 70 pence a share,so its going well.its just getting boring,,i see bfp is so far down a hole,they cant a ladder big enough to reach the bottom,,its only paper talk,,,,,,,,,,,but the squeeze is on the independent boys . we have a premier news agent in the next town to us,,,,,,there empty,,,stock wise,loads of floor space but not much stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!but they allways have a good amount of lynx lager.
i will be out of this soon mid 90 pence ,,you cant be to carefull . dave

An article in The Sunday Times dated 12 September 2004 included a statement
attributed to an adviser of Wal-Mart that Wal-Mart had ruled out a bid for
Matalan. At the request of the Takeover Panel, Wal-Mart can confirm that these
comments were not authorised by Wal-Mart. The only authorised statement, in
accordance with Wal-Mart's normal policy, is that Wal-Mart does not make
comments regarding its future intentions.

Haven't been watching this, as I'm already sold out. But there's little
movement right now share price wise, it's all a bit odd......
Just watch out for a drop, it may not happen, but if it does there
may not be much time to get out before you've lost a fair bit of good profit.
I'll keep my ears crossed for you guys that it doesn't drop and goes
orbital instead! Be Lucky!!
