VOG is presently drilling Well 104 in its West Medvezhye field, and expected to reach depth in 4 weeks from spud date of 30th June, that makes 27th July(this week).
Results of testing will be sometime mid/late August, with a positive outcome
it could be HUGH.
With estimates of 134BILLION cubic metres of GAS and 201 Million barrels of Gas
Condensate,it will be a Company Maker. The field is in the area of the largest gas field in the WORLD.
Other assets include Kemerkol in Kazakhstan, with C1 reserves of 8.7MBO
and C2 reserves of7.8MBO. Another acquistion is Tamdykol with potental
reserves of 34MBO, it also has interest in 2 blocks in the North Sea.
You can check it out on www.uk-wire.com, and its own site of www.victoriaoilandgas.com.
It has excellent management team led by Kevin Foo, who hopes to turn it into
a Mid Cap Company(500m+) in the not to distant future.
As i stated earlier in the post, Drilling is almost complete so it won't be long to Lift Off?
Well, Well worth checking out.

Signing of Framework Agreement for Gas Off-Take for a new Power Station in
Moscow, Russia
Victoria signs framework agreement for provision of gas to new 210 MW power
station to be built in Moscow
Approximately 15 billion cubic feet to be provided per annum at market price
for a minimum of two years when West Medvezhye is in commercial production
Power station to negotiate transmission of gas through pipeline network with
Gazprom
Victoria Oil & Gas Plc ('Victoria' or the 'Company'), the AIM-quoted oil and gas
company, today announces that it has signed a framework agreement (the
'Agreement') with OOO EnergoPromInvest ('EPI') for the potential provision of gas
from its West Medvezhye licence in Russia to a new power station to be
constructed in Moscow (the 'Power Station').
EPI holds the right for construction and operation of a new gas-turbine heat and
power station in the Scherbinka suburb in the south-west region of Moscow. The
Power Station will have the capacity to generate up to 210 MW of electricity and
300 Gkal/h of heat and will require an estimated 15 billion cubic feet of gas
per annum.
The power station is expected to start limited operation in 2007 with full
electric and heat capacity anticipated by the third quarter of 2009. Under the
terms of the Agreement, Victoria will enter into a gas off-take contract with
EPI to supply 100 per cent of the Power Station's gas requirement for a minimum
of two years when West Medvezhye is in commercial production. The gas will be
acquired at the prevailing market price.
As an industrial consumer, EPI will have the right to buy gas from the field and
Gazprom shall be required to transport it to the power station, subject to the
gas meeting designated technical standards and available pipeline capacity.
Commenting today William Kelleher Managing Director said, 'In signing this
agreement we have secured a future market for our prospective gas production and
access to Gazprom's pipeline system. The construction of the Scherbinka power
station will dovetail with the development of our West Medvezhye asset and we
are proud to be involved with such an important project for the city of Moscow'.

Well 103 Update for West Medvezhye Project, Russia
Well 103 at 3,627 metres and on schedule for completion to target depth of 3,885 metres by end of September
DeGolyer & MacNaughton increase best estimate gross prospective resource volume statement by 12%
Russian independent explorer Nadymneftegaz make new gas and condensate discovery in adjacent licence at well
less than 10 kilometres from Well 103
Victoria Oil & Gas Plc ('the Company') the AIM-quoted oil and gas company focused on the Former Soviet Union, today
announces that drilling at Well 103 at its West Medvezhye gas and condensate project (the 'Project') has reached 3,627
metres and remains on track to reach target depth by the end of September 2006.
The Company is targeting up to six potentially hydrocarbon-bearing intervals between depths of 3,200 - 3,880 metres.
Last week, a well drilled by Russian independent explorer Nadymneftegaz to a depth below 3,000 metres less than 10
kilometres from Well 103 intersected potentially commercial quantities of gas and condensate.
An updated resource statement for the Project prepared by independent reserve auditors DeGolyer & MacNaughton ('D&M') as
at 30 June 2006 prior to this discovery gives an analysis of prospective intervals by well. D&M have also revised their
best estimate gross prospective resource volume statement for the Project to 1.1 billion barrels of oil equivalent (an
increase of 12%).

as you can see, it is really just good indications from the next door neighbour, but encouraging nevertheless even if sp has scarcely moved

'The Company is targeting up to six potentially hydrocarbon-bearing intervals between depths of 3,200 - 3,880 metres.'
'Well 103 at 3,627 metres....'
No indication of them having found anything between 3,200 and where they are now, i.e. 3,627. Worrying!

For Lostandfound,
The RNS went onto say:
"Commenting today, Managing Director William Kelleher said, 'We continue to see gas shows and have had to increase the
density of the drilling fluid in order to maintain stable wellbore conditions. This should not delay us in reaching
total depth by the end of this month.
'The discovery made by Nadymneftegaz at our neighbouring field last week could be an extremely important indicator for
our West Medvezhye licence as we believe that the well may be producing from intervals including those which Well 103 is
targeting. Given the proximity of the discovery, it is a very encouraging sign. D&M's upgrading of their best estimate
resource volume by 12% is also very good news'"
So, there is indication that they have found something between 3,200 and where they are now. Let's hope that VOG make the same discovery as their neighbours.
Kind regards

and of course no gas of commercial interest is found until it is found ...... Hope VOG don't end up with a dud this time, as do we all .... That said, I am not 100% certain that VOG needed to issue this morning's RNS, and if that is the case, then it indicates that they must be pretty sure of their ground (well the hole anyway!)
