Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

KEAYDIAN - 17 Jan 2007 09:29 - 12504 of 24230

Mmmm, bread.

Socrates - 17 Jan 2007 09:40 - 12505 of 24230

Good morning all, sorry I'm late but just updated my Norton AV. Tedious but necessary.

KEAYDIAN - 17 Jan 2007 09:46 - 12506 of 24230

Morning Socs, brew?

Socrates - 17 Jan 2007 09:51 - 12507 of 24230

Many thanks K, I'll make a nice pot of English Breakfast tea. If you fancy some real toast I'll get a couple of long toasting forks, some crusty bread and we can sit in front of the log fire toasting away.

KEAYDIAN - 17 Jan 2007 09:53 - 12508 of 24230

Sounds champion, I could dry my clothes at the same time if you don't mind.

Large mug for me please.

Socrates - 17 Jan 2007 09:57 - 12509 of 24230

Sure thing K, just as long as you don't frighten the horses.

Hils
If I get breakfast thrown in at the hotel I do indeed go for the Musli and fresh fruit. If its not included I wont pay EUR 25 for the rabbit food so get a croissant instead for about EUR 1.20. Each trip here I bring my Gym kit but I very rarely make it there.

Socrates - 17 Jan 2007 10:14 - 12511 of 24230

Jeffers
Sounds like you are at the wrong hotel. Last 5* I stayed at only charged 24 Euros and that was FEB delivered to your room.

stockbunny - 17 Jan 2007 10:16 - 12512 of 24230

No breakfast included or H/B basis JM? Can't have you in rations whilst abroad, I'll send you a crate of rabbit food to see you through ;>)

This_is_me - 17 Jan 2007 11:28 - 12513 of 24230

Norton AV?

I thought everyone had stopped using that now that you can get better free anti virus software. The straw that broke me using it was the expensive subscription with Irish VAT on top and that is much higher than even what Gordon Brown charges.

jeffmack - 17 Jan 2007 11:33 - 12514 of 24230

I have McAfee security suite 2007, cost about 2 pounds on EBAY

hilary - 17 Jan 2007 12:18 - 12515 of 24230

I was done!!! Mine cost a fiver.

Socrates - 17 Jan 2007 12:31 - 12516 of 24230

Yes I still use Norton. I have used Mcafee and free ones but when I first used Norton it found infections that the others had ignored. I feel safer with Norton so I pay the annual upgrade subscription.

Just been out for some shopping at Morrisons, walked (save the planet) and now need a brew.

KEAYDIAN - 17 Jan 2007 12:43 - 12517 of 24230

Large mug for me please Socs.

You see it's all in the timing. Get it right, and you'll never have to make a cup again.

Socrates - 17 Jan 2007 12:51 - 12518 of 24230

Large mug coming up, would you like me to fill it with tea?

Socrates - 17 Jan 2007 12:53 - 12519 of 24230

Isn't investing fun! All my shares are showing red but the value of my portfolio has gone up, fascinating.

optomistic - 17 Jan 2007 12:56 - 12520 of 24230

Been on a buying spree then Socco :-)

Seymour Clearly - 17 Jan 2007 13:02 - 12521 of 24230

Can't find my specs.

Socrates - 17 Jan 2007 13:16 - 12522 of 24230

No Opto, but I have had a clean out so my portfolio is much less volatile and less risky.

optomistic - 17 Jan 2007 13:18 - 12523 of 24230

Socco if I did that, wouldn't be much left in it.
