Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

hilary - 19 Jan 2007 08:41 - 12578 of 24230

My experience is that CDG is pretty much a non-starter when Eurostar has a problem, Jeffie.

Socrates - 19 Jan 2007 09:13 - 12579 of 24230

Sorry Jeffers, my rowing boat is laid up for the winter and having its annual bottom-scrape.

Tea please, Bunny.

stockbunny - 19 Jan 2007 09:50 - 12580 of 24230

Tea for Socs....you'll have to rent a boat then Socs, can't have our Jeffie stranded living on frogs legs and snails!

Spaceman - 19 Jan 2007 09:58 - 12581 of 24230

Jeef, When I walked through Waterloo last night at the start of my 2 hour journey to Sevenoaks, the Eurostar area was chaos. Hope you get back home OK.

Hastings is bright this morning, just right for a couple of warm danish and a coffee.

Socrates - 19 Jan 2007 10:01 - 12582 of 24230

No good Bunny, by the time I have rowed down the Bristol Channel, round Lands End and up the English Channel, Jeffers will have grown old and grey. Maybe swimming is an option for Jeffers?

jeffmack - 19 Jan 2007 10:11 - 12583 of 24230

They are not very good with their notices. They now say

Eurostar expects to run a normal or near normal service today (Friday 19 January 2007).

hilary - 19 Jan 2007 10:13 - 12584 of 24230

Maybe Jeffie should lift his skirt and hitch a lift on a lorry up the A1 to Calais.

Socrates - 19 Jan 2007 10:21 - 12585 of 24230

Hilary
I can imagine that might work with your legs, but Jeffers, no chance.

hilary - 19 Jan 2007 10:22 - 12586 of 24230

He probably just needs to wax them, Socs.

Socrates - 19 Jan 2007 10:29 - 12587 of 24230

I doubt it's worth the pain Hilary.

Spaceman - 19 Jan 2007 10:42 - 12588 of 24230

I am imagining Jeff in a skirt and covered in goose fat and hitching up to Calais.

Not realy something I want to think about .....

jeffmack - 19 Jan 2007 11:02 - 12589 of 24230

Actually I only have one leg, lost the other one in the war

chocolat - 19 Jan 2007 11:06 - 12590 of 24230

Won't stop you hopping into a cab.

stockbunny - 19 Jan 2007 11:11 - 12591 of 24230

Boar war or Crimean war Jeff?

Yes OK I'm packing!!!!

Socrates - 19 Jan 2007 14:28 - 12592 of 24230

Afternoon tea is brewing, sun is shining and the cat's asleep.

jj50 - 19 Jan 2007 14:29 - 12593 of 24230

Tea ... great :-)

Lucky you with the sun Socs.... grey here.

Since it's Friday, are there any cakes on offer?

Socrates - 19 Jan 2007 14:34 - 12594 of 24230

Plenty of cake JJ, whatever you fancy. I've got a nice pair of Belgian Buns!

optomistic - 19 Jan 2007 14:44 - 12595 of 24230
