Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

'Gobshite Of The Year' Award 2011 - Update.
2005,2006,2007,2008,2009 and 2010 'Gobshite Of The Year' stalwart Fred 1 new is once again well in the lead and odds on favourite to romp home the winner of this years coveted 'Gobshite Of The Year Award.' Competition organisors agree that despite many worthy contenders past and present, they simply fall sadly to the wayside in the wake of this mans inane ability to outperform and outshine, his ability is recognised as simply the best. Keep up the good work Fred my money is once again firmly on you. :O) Fingers crossed the organisors may even decide that you be allowed to keep the trophy. What a honour Lifetime Gobshite!

Anybody seen the unemplyment figures
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-15271800
UK unemployment total reaches 17-year high
Unemployment is at its highest for 17 years, according to the Office for National Statistics Continue reading the main story
UK economic growth revised down
UK construction activity 'stalls'
UK unemployment rose by 114,000 between June and August to 2.57 million, a 17-year high, according to official figures.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said the unemployment rate also increased to 8.1%.
The unemployment total for 16-24 year olds hit a record high of 991,000 in the quarter, a jobless rate of 21.3%.
The number of people out of work and claiming benefits rose 17,500 to 1.6 million in September
=========================
Good to see that the present tory/lib government has obtained the unemployment levels of the last tory governement 17years ago.
But it is good to know they are still sticking to plan A and blaming Europe and the rest of the world for the failure of the plan.
It am wondering, when they will start blaming their parents for their own problems.
Bur, its time to stick with our fox and porky as the ship goes down.
Are they fit for purpose.

Just two more questions, who is in charge of this government and why can't they take responsibility for their actions.

Suggest the con/lib government look at the unemployment figurres for Europe and USA the trends in those countries compare with the UK.
This is the most sensible time for another U-turn, of course, after listening to the latest PR information.

The Daily Politics program pointed out that youth unemployment was 600,000 when Labour came to power and 900,000 when they left!

I will be interested in the next set of figures.
Also, analyse how the present figures are being massaged or camouflaged!
Edited for stalkers who found difficulty in understanding the message.

Should the coalition be called the neo-cons/lie coalition.
Good to see Ham and Fish on the TV menu so much.
Don't know which is the most slippery.
Seems as if Dave and George are ducking interviews.

I wish F*** would set up his own 'This is the F*** and friends page, then this thread could get back to the discus anything thread that it used to be.
This thread used to be a great pick me up due to being able to discus any subject, from the frivolous, to the funny to the more serious side of life.
As a final last plea.
Please can we get the thread back to where it used to be, before **** and his bities (is that the right word for those that bite) take over completely.
I used to enjoy the banter on here, but not any longer.
Why not take the title, 'Talk to yourself thread' literally, and let F*** talk to himself.
I only post the above, not because I wish to upset anyone (one exception of course) but because as said, I did enjoy the banter.
Regards to all (almost).

Despite a nasty reputation, piranhas seem to bark more often than bite.
Scientists have discovered that the fearsome fish use sounds to communicate - often intimidating their rivals rather than attacking.

Black Death genetic code 'built'
The genetic code of the germ that caused the Black Death has been reconstructed by scientists for the first time.
The researchers extracted DNA fragments of the ancient bacterium from the teeth of medieval corpses found in London.
They say the pathogen is the ancestor of all modern plagues.

Hi Mnamreh,
Cummingtonite, very good, and that on that note, are you like me continually pestered by Viagra adverts, either through the door or via E-mails.
Personally I'm getting fed up with the hard sell (OK will stick to the day job).
One of those signs.
Seen at an NHS hospital (very technophobic so could not post a photo of the actual sign).
