Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

jj50 - 23 Jan 2007 10:09 - 12635 of 24230

Morning all.... good to see the barrels of wine have rolled up, we will
hose the sand off later!

Time for a coffee :-)

jm - did you notice Socs interpretation of "afternoon delight" is "shopping" -
glad retirement is a long way off ;-)

optomistic - 23 Jan 2007 10:10 - 12636 of 24230

Well if he found a BMW bike on the beach, he did the right thing taking it home....some child could have hurt itself on it!
Any chance of a quick pot of tea, I'm going to have an operation this morning, and it's so cold for an haircut.

optomistic - 23 Jan 2007 10:11 - 12637 of 24230

Morning jj, bet it's sooooh cold up there today.

jj50 - 23 Jan 2007 10:19 - 12638 of 24230

Morning opto :-) Tea on its way and I'll warm the usual
danish since bunny has popped out!

It is actually sunny and bright - have my window open, so not too cold! Snow
may hit later - I would hang on to your hair if I was you, just in case it
comes your way;-)

stockbunny - 23 Jan 2007 10:19 - 12639 of 24230

Save you the money Opto - I'll be round with the shears ;>)

optomistic - 23 Jan 2007 10:31 - 12640 of 24230

Thanks for the tea danish jj. Turn your heating down and close that window.
Bunny, shears? now I know you have some garden shears.......going out....NOW :-)

Spaceman - 23 Jan 2007 10:34 - 12641 of 24230

chocky, no the fat man is me...

Socrates - 23 Jan 2007 11:04 - 12642 of 24230

I'm back again, what, nobody missed me! Had to go out for some shopping, a quick run around Morrisons buying all the BOGOFs. It certainly adds variety to the weekly menu.

stockbunny - 23 Jan 2007 11:14 - 12643 of 24230

Yes what an unfortunate thing the abbreviation BOG OF is LOL ;>)
You'd think they'd think of that!
I like the special offers too Socs, why pay more when you can pay less :>)

Socrates - 23 Jan 2007 11:43 - 12644 of 24230

Yes, nice to save a little cash but one advantage is that you try brands and menu items previously untried. It is so easy to go and buy "safe" things that you know, easy too to get into a rut. Variety is the spice of life, so somebody once said.

Spaceman - 23 Jan 2007 11:45 - 12645 of 24230

Socs, did you go by bus now that you have your free pass ;-)

Socrates - 23 Jan 2007 11:55 - 12646 of 24230

Spacie
I could have had a free pass five years ago but have not yet obtained one. I went by car because some of the shopping was heavy and I had to pick up her-indoors from a friends house, otherwise I would most likely have walked. (Save the planet).

Spaceman - 23 Jan 2007 12:01 - 12647 of 24230

Socs, I hope you noticed the ;-)

;-) ;-)

Socrates - 23 Jan 2007 12:05 - 12648 of 24230

Yes Spacie, all taken in good part. [:~)

jeffmack - 23 Jan 2007 12:22 - 12649 of 24230

Socrates - 23 Jan 2007 12:32 - 12650 of 24230

I don't know Jeffers, what's bingo?

jeffmack - 23 Jan 2007 12:36 - 12651 of 24230

Its what OAP's play

jeffmack - 23 Jan 2007 12:37 - 12652 of 24230

And people from council estates

jj50 - 23 Jan 2007 13:01 - 12653 of 24230

How do you know who plays bingo then jm? :-)

jeffmack - 23 Jan 2007 13:12 - 12654 of 24230

I lived on a council estate from birth until I was 20 and I know some old people who play bingo
