THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Hays,

It is amazing.

A kid in London nicks a TV worth 200 and get 6mths.

A fox attempts to nick 20,000 and teams up with mate for other enterprises, repays the 20,000 and carries on trading and a "tory" think it is a "blip".

Mind that could be the new norm for the "old boys club".

Fred smells a rat. Got his nose to close to his arse again.

Quick get in before Fred! Oh dear Oliver Letwin doing his filing in a public park, you couldn't make it up. Never hear the end of this now, that's six months material for Freddy boy.

'Criminal' penguin caught on film

A "criminal" stone-stealing Adelie penguin has been captured on camera by a BBC film crew.

The team, filming for the documentary Frozen Planet, spent four months with the penguin colony on Ross Island, Antarctica.

The footage they captured shows a male penguin stealing stones from its neighbour's nest.

greekman - 17 Oct 2011 09:02 - 12676 of 81564

Gives truth to the the lie about world crime figures reducing.

Ross Island was the headquarters of the Indian Penal Settlement for nearly 80 years.
In November 1857, the Government decided to establish a penal settlement in Andaman and send "hard-core elements" among those who took on the British. There were two reasons: One, to keep them away from other prisoners and the other, to send out a message that a similar treatment would be meted out to anyone who challenged the British authority.

Perhaps we should consider re-establishing it as a penal colony. Mind you it would have to have good TV reception, not to mention fast broadband, otherwise there would be cause for complaint under the Human Rights Act.
Just think how much it would cost the tax payer, shipping all those wives/girlfriends out for conjugal visits. Probably should include boyfriends as well.
Has anyone thought yet, what will happen when the first same sex marriage pair are split up when one of the pair is put away.

Funny old world.

Better not tell the Penguin about the churchs, it might start pinching the lead.

Flying penguins found by BBC programme

ExecLine - 17 Oct 2011 13:04 - 12682 of 81564

A DOCTOR has worked out what makes the perfect boobs after carefully analysing 100 of The Sun's Page 3 girls.

Plastic surgeon Patrick Mallucci identified four key features during a three-month study.

First, the part of the boob lying below the nipple was ten per cent fuller than that above it like those of Page 3 Hollie and model Kelly Brook.

Next, the nipples themselves were angled upwards at 20 degrees.

Finally the skin sloped flatly or inward above the nipple, and curved outwards below it.

Dr Mallucci explained: "The nipple meridian a horizontal line drawn at the level of the nipple lay at a point such that the proportion of the breast above it was 45 per cent and below 55 per cent.

"The more breasts deviate from these measures the less attractive they are regardless of size." His findings were published in the International Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Doctors can now use them to ensure perfect boob jobs.

Dr Mallucci, of London's University College Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital, said: "Page 3 made me question what it is that makes readers find these breasts appealing."
