I do that Bunny, the only problem is that after a couple of doz. washes they have changed colour and don't match the newer ones, not to mention that my wife and daughters think that in 'boring'.

Ahhh well see you have to match up the faded ones with the other faded ones, so buy packs of 6 pairs at a time - this is one of my speciality areas you see, having 2 sons who regularly lose or hole socks LOL It is boring...true...but who wants to keep buying socks when you have odd ones anyway! Should your daughters have sons later on it is a skill they are bound to acquire;>)

Re Socks, I use the always buying the same ones method and dont worry about the fact that they get a bit lighter with age.

How about selling your single socks on Ebay?
