Hello anyone. Heard today about a chap whose sex life was in trouble, seems he had confused Viagra with vinegar!

Mostly blue day for my portfolio today, bonza.

I'll be in earlyish tomorrow, the first of my long weekends. Ther is something to be said for retirement.

STORMCALLER - 02 Feb 2007 01:43 - 12868 of 24230

FINALLY....GGGGGRRRR

OK, life membership is life membership, right?, epsecially when countersigned (after a suitable bribe!!!) by the near god-like BULLSHARE
Well in my naivety that's what I believed.....but no...apparently news travels fast hereabouts.....I've been unemployed for less than 36 hours when some over-ribboned jobs-worth on the door says the establishment has been upgraded, "No Vagrants"
Told the little OIK where to get off I can tell you...slapped it around a bit.....may have broken it.....er...so if it belongs to you....I am sorry....but please come and clear it up...

Socs,
Congratulations on your well earned retirement, I hope you are going to pursue all the things being an upstanding worker prevented you doing before...LOL
And I must add I hope it came about in a more sane fashion than my own departure???, went into the office as normal on Wednesday morning....left 9 hours later....unemployed!!!

Seems to me a righteous excuse to visit the Bubbly cellar I support here, and if I may say only one thing will suit.....DP VIN '96....should be just about perfect now, and I deserve it.....well bollocks if I don't....I am damned well going to crack a bottle!!!!........CHEERS everyone.....:-)))))

stockbunny - 02 Feb 2007 08:22 - 12869 of 24230

Morning all,
How are we all today?
Danish warming, tea's on...
:>)

optomistic - 02 Feb 2007 08:30 - 12870 of 24230

This 'all' is very well thank you Bunny. Love a danish and tea.

KEAYDIAN - 02 Feb 2007 08:53 - 12871 of 24230

Large mug for me please.

stockbunny - 02 Feb 2007 09:00 - 12872 of 24230

OK, on it's way - sun's shining :>))))

optomistic - 02 Feb 2007 09:08 - 12873 of 24230

K's up early! Morning K :-)

Socrates - 02 Feb 2007 09:14 - 12874 of 24230

Good day all. Good to see you back Stormy, shame about your difficulty with access though, I'll send Pru round to clear up any mess. I must say that it was inevitable though, Compo would have looked well dressed in your rig, gardening clothes I suppose.

Shame about your redundancy, I've seen it happen before. Person gets to work and finds a security guard standing by his desk with a box. "Put your personal items in the box, give me your access card, credit card and parking permit and I'll escort you off the premises". Shock horror! One minute gainfully employed, next minute cast aside like a used tissue".

Scrambled egg and toast with mug of tea for brekkers, I think.

stockbunny - 02 Feb 2007 09:28 - 12875 of 24230

Morning Socs :>)
I trust it is sunny in your part of the world today :>)

Socrates - 02 Feb 2007 09:37 - 12876 of 24230

Hi Bunny, no it was sunny earlier but now it is grey and quite dark. At least my portfolio is blue at present, not that that means much at this time of day on a Friday.

KEAYDIAN - 02 Feb 2007 09:46 - 12877 of 24230

Top of the morning to you as well Opto.

Socrates - 02 Feb 2007 11:11 - 12878 of 24230

It's time for elevenses, I'll make tea and coffee. Is there a Danish or two around Bunny?
