About 3 inches here north of Heathrow and its still falling, school's shut so number 2 son home, number 1 son drove off very carefully to work and bless him let me know he arrived OK cos yes I was worried - round here people just aren't used to driving in this stuff.

Snow disappearing fast from here, not so quick elsewhere I hear. One of my colleagues couldn't even get out of his house, let alone drive to work.
