Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 08 Feb 2007 23:33 - 13007 of 24230

Hey, I was hungry, all I was doing was counting out four pork chops.

STORMCALLER - 09 Feb 2007 00:10 - 13008 of 24230

Evening all,
Felt the need to drop in for a nightcap to ward-off the cold.....large brandy I think..:-)

Socs,
You sure it was just hunger, 4 pork chops suggests doggy-bag potential..?
Pleased to see you are taking the humane route though, as I naturally assume lamb-chops are still baahh'd

Now for that brandy...cheers..:-)

Socrates - 09 Feb 2007 09:08 - 13009 of 24230

Good morning all.

Another snowy day in the Wolds of Cot, cold and grey too as one would expect. Time for some warming tea and coffee so I'll get busy in the kitchen. I promise to keep the place clean, can't afford to rub Bunny up the wrong way.

KEAYDIAN - 09 Feb 2007 09:13 - 13010 of 24230

Large tea please with toast and jam.

Over here by the fire.

jj50 - 09 Feb 2007 09:18 - 13011 of 24230

Morning. Socs, thanks for the coffee - you won't upset bunny but I don't think
she will be pleased K wants his toast brought over to him :-(

It is self service in here, mate.

Socrates - 09 Feb 2007 09:21 - 13012 of 24230

I'm glad you said that and not me, Opto.

optomistic - 09 Feb 2007 09:23 - 13013 of 24230

What did I say Socco.

Socrates - 09 Feb 2007 09:25 - 13014 of 24230

Sorry Opto, meant to say JJ, senior moment and all that.

JJ, must humour Keaydian, it's an age thing!

KEAYDIAN - 09 Feb 2007 09:25 - 13015 of 24230

Ahem, toast?

optomistic - 09 Feb 2007 09:26 - 13016 of 24230

Keep an eye on K jj, the fire suround is made of wood and so are the chairs. Once he flips anything can happen! Take him some tea and toast :-)

and it gets worse Socco!

jj50 - 09 Feb 2007 09:40 - 13017 of 24230

Right opto, I don't do wait at table either .. you
are lucky it is Friday and I am feeling cheery .... ;_)

Socrates - 09 Feb 2007 09:40 - 13018 of 24230

I thought it was about time to make a minor update to my profile, that done it's time for tea and toast. Real crusty bread, not that supermarket stuff. Just for fun Keaydian can do his own, I'll give him a plate of bread and a toasting fork so he can keep warm and feed himself at the same time.

KEAYDIAN - 09 Feb 2007 09:40 - 13019 of 24230

Tooooooooooooooooooooast

Socrates - 09 Feb 2007 09:42 - 13020 of 24230

Yes that's right Keaydian, toast. No not like that, you have to turn the bread round to toast the second side too.

stockbunny - 09 Feb 2007 09:43 - 13021 of 24230

Morning toast is done and ready and tea's on :>)
Could do with some more logs K if you want, but an hour or so chopping only if you wouldn't mind and oh yes....mind my porch!

stockbunny - 09 Feb 2007 09:43 - 13022 of 24230

Sorry morning Socs :>)

Socrates - 09 Feb 2007 09:52 - 13023 of 24230

Yes, mind Bunny's Porch and my BMW too.

Spaceman - 09 Feb 2007 10:02 - 13024 of 24230

Morning all, bloody freezing in Hastings today.

I have just been to the dentists, she tells me I need 2 fillings first one I had had to have in about 15 years and I am dreading them, I am scared stiff of the dentists.....

Socrates - 09 Feb 2007 10:06 - 13025 of 24230

I hate the needle more than the drill Spacie. Last three fillings I've had done without the needle, one was a bit twitchy but the other two were easy.

stockbunny - 09 Feb 2007 10:27 - 13026 of 24230

Spacie you're not alone, in fact I think those of us who don't have work done very often on our teeth tend to be even more apprehensive. You just gotta get it done and my feelings are have the local anestetic (not spelt right but you'll know what I mean) unless you hate needles that is, as less pain is preferrable!
