No just the threat of the presence of submarines/ new Destroyers should keep the argies to giving out jaw jaw and not war war..

mcgrath you can't blame the EU for lack of action on Iran/Syria. You need to look at the Chinese and Russians for that.
UK are looking pathetic over Assange and Ecuador as a result we have managed to ensure the whole of South America is united against us and nobody will take us seriously on pretty much anything from now on, and you can't blame them. Whether destroyers in the Falkands will make any difference is a moot point. Let's get some oil first and see how powerful we are.

Coe 1 , i know i didn't mention the Chinese/Russians backing Assad , you are of course spot on. Trouble is Syria is to Russia what Israel is to the US. Yes i agree on your Sth American angle against us! I know we gone on to Geo Politics lately on here , not a bad thing whilst we are waiting this drill bit to hopefully discover lots Oil on these two drilling programs.

When it comes to the Falklands and the Argentinian problem, the only consideration that will decide what action is required will be what that action means to politicians careers.
If the Argies do spit their dummies out big time, there is no doubt that the UK would act forcefully, as not to do so would be the end of Cameron and his already weak coalition government.
Most politicians always put themselves, first second and last and have always done so.

shares generally misbehave with good reason and this one is certainly now on amber alert

I don't agree. I fully expected this to drift much further than it has while investors wait for news. There is no reason that I can see why it has maintained it's high valuation during drilling.

MM's probably keeping this higher due to the big potential if there is a successful stike on either drill, that's my take , i could be bloody wrong! We all just have to wait as you do with this stuff!

Last week you had sold all but kept a "small holding" and now you sold more and have "a modest holding".
I am lost, modest is bigger than small and you keep selling but keep also "have some left over"........... LOL
Why not just say how many shares you have left and let people know - stops the imaginary sells but "still got some" (in case of good news !!)...
I have 400K FOGL, not selling any of them until after the Loligo drilling results.... so how many shares do you have cynic ?
I am glad I am on holiday, the bulletin boards are going downhill at the moment, you can tell its summer holiday time.............

arsehole - i have 5,000 left which i deem more than sufficient and indeed, arguably i should have sold the lot ...... i could just as easily tell you 50,000 or 500,000, just as you like to say (pretend?) that you stupidly (imvho!) have 400,000

I just watch people post and note their lies and distortions, and then upset them by "outing" their nonsense.

you really are the most unbelievable prick! ...... i have no need nor ever do lie about what i do or do not hold or trade, as several on here who know me personally actually know
i could go on about your own incessant spouting of nonsense and profuse ramping, a view with which arguably the majority of members on this BB would concur

Ah, the usual plunge into petty squabbling while the drill turns!
Rf, where have you been? Trust it wasn't the South Atlantic outherwise you would have shared your research with us???

I fear this bb is populated by nervous twitches. To be fair to PP he has provided research and while he does talk his own book, tell me someone who doesn't. I have quite a lot of shares by some standards and am sitting on them till my own itch gets unbearable. I am in profit at present.
Let's have a bit of Olympic spirit in here guys and try to be civil. My ex father in law said once to me if you can't say something nice about someone don't say it at all.

Hmmmmm.....is that why he is your ex father-in-law? ;o)
I have a modest FOGL quantity but am happy to hold until the news is released. I consider the risk bearable!
