Morning All

Spacie, I will be on the 7:24 from Ashford tomorrow. Staying in the Sofitel La Defense. Hotels very expensive this week, Sofitel cheapest at 200 Euro

Socrates - 04 Mar 2007 10:31 - 13430 of 24230

That's quite a good price for a week Jeffers!

STORMCALLER - 05 Mar 2007 04:06 - 13431 of 24230

Morning all,

Pleased to see I wasn't the only one who noticed the moon was a bit off-colour...had begun to think I was more "tired and emotional " than I had allowed for, so that's a relief..LOL

Best guess is that this was a "Venus eclipse" but then again I have no knowledge in this area?!?

jj50, You look stunning in the moonlight....and I have a wonderful stock of vintage champagne...:-)

Regards

SC

ps...if Socs is retired why don't we see more of his august personage, surely he hasn't sold-out and got a hobby?

Socrates - 05 Mar 2007 10:08 - 13432 of 24230

Good morning one and all.

Stormy. I am retired but the old firm decided they must have me back whilst they search the universe for a replacement. Thus I do three days a week and have monday and friday to make a long weekend. So here I am having done the retirement bit and had a good lie in.

Must make some toast now, all this sleeping makes me hungry.

JStratford - 05 Mar 2007 10:25 - 13433 of 24230

Morning all.

I've returned to the relative sanity that exists in this peaceful and serene cafe. If anyone asks for me, you haven't seen me, no not even if they look like a younger Julia Roberts.

KEAYDIAN - 05 Mar 2007 10:39 - 13434 of 24230

That goes for me as well, zzzzz zzzzz zzzzz

KEAYDIAN - 05 Mar 2007 10:40 - 13435 of 24230

That goes for me as well, zzzzz zzzzz zzzzz

Socrates - 05 Mar 2007 10:45 - 13436 of 24230

Twice over eh, Keaydian.

Hi JS, good to see you back again. I knew you would get time off for good behaviour. LOL. But relative sanity? You must have been in a real wierd place to think this is relative sanity. Probably make a good book in that case, let me know when you've published it and I'll have a signed first edition.

JStratford - 05 Mar 2007 10:57 - 13437 of 24230

Socs, Funny you should say that, I was thinking about writing the book just last night. Problem is not getting arrested or murdered when it's released! Believe me, the last two years have proved just how insane realy life is, and how "normal" this place is, hence why I'm back.

jeffmack - 05 Mar 2007 11:06 - 13438 of 24230

JS
two posts and no update on your love life. So how did it go, was my advice helpful.

Socrates - 05 Mar 2007 11:09 - 13439 of 24230

Good morning Jeffers, how's the weather in Paris?

jeffmack - 05 Mar 2007 11:11 - 13440 of 24230

Weather is delightful Socco. Hows the portfolio? I didnt have much but sold them all this morning.

Socrates - 05 Mar 2007 11:15 - 13441 of 24230

Quite a ruddy glow this morning Jeffers, looks like the big boys taking us all to the cleaners again.

JStratford - 05 Mar 2007 11:32 - 13442 of 24230

Jeff, Travelled across half of the UK, phoned her up when I got within 20 miles to say I'd be half an hour late to only be told that she didn't want to see me. At least I'm pretty sure that's what she said through the tears. The bf had dumped her, poor girl. She's hoping that she'll get him back today. Saw her yesterday for an hour, as a friend. So there we are, an update but no news. Read into it what you will, because I sure as hell don't know what's going on. You might have to wait for the book to be released!

C'est la vie.

Spaceman - 05 Mar 2007 11:40 - 13443 of 24230

JS, sadly it sounds like you need to give up on that one ;-(

Jeff, my trip has been shortened going out tomoorw PM back Wednesday, but I will probably be there next week or the week after!

jeffmack - 05 Mar 2007 11:48 - 13444 of 24230

Flying visit Spacie. I am not here next week but am scheduled to be here the following 4 weeks :-(

jeffmack - 05 Mar 2007 11:48 - 13445 of 24230

JS
Thats too bad and sounds a bit complicated.

JStratford - 05 Mar 2007 11:57 - 13446 of 24230

Spacie, Logic agrees with you, emotions have a bit of a lag.

Jeff, complicated... she's a woman.

stockbunny - 05 Mar 2007 14:20 - 13447 of 24230

Afternoon kettles on...
picked up some chocolate brownies and custard and cream slices on the way in, help yourselves.

Socrates - 05 Mar 2007 14:33 - 13448 of 24230

Thanks Bunny.
