Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I was at my local council office today to get a parking permit renewed. The workers there are not going on strike tomorrow, which is suprising as it is a very left wing Labour Borough.

Tanker,
You say, 'The school where you can not turn the electric off' .
Perhaps a PFI was used at the royal Mint, after all they don't appear to be able to turn the printing presses off.
Another scam.
Anyone see Bercow's 37,000 portrait and coat of arms story, the amount being paid by us the tax payer.
I wonder what a coat of arms for 'Greedy B*****rd would look like, perhaps a fat man guzzling huge wades of money, whilst sticking his middle finger up.
The excuse is that the painting will belong to the country, So thats all right then, I feel a lot better!

Tanker.
What do you expect the present tory elitist leadership.
This pack wouldn't recognise the difference between being upright and lying down.
Mind it is all down to the Eurozone and next week probably Iran.

Hays,
"I was at my local council office today to get a parking permit renewed."
With your judgements, do you think it is safe for the public to allow you to continue to drive?
Get a bus pass instead.

Funeral Expenses
An elderly man and his ever-nagging wife went on vacation in Jerusalem . While they were there, the wife passed away. The undertaker told the husband, "You can have her buried here in the Holy Land for $1500 or we can have her shipped back home for $5000. The husband thought about it and told the undertaker he would have her shipped back home. The undertaker asked him, "why would you spend $5000 to have her shipped home when you could have a beautiful burial here, and it would only cost $1500????" The husband replied, "Long ago, a man died here, was buried here, and three days later, rose from the dead. I Just can't take that chance".
