Be very careful CD I had a dabble around 200p and fortunately got out with a bit but that chart doesn't inspire confidence does it.

Heard the other day about a small Italian Bank in some trouble but no news since.
Banks not been in favour for some time so would avoid for time being.

Barclays is being threatened with a boardroom shake-up after an activist investor announced plans for a shareholder vote on the bank's leadership. Edward Bramson, who has spent about £900m building a 5.5% stake in Barclays through his investment vehicle Sherborne Investors, told his own shareholders that a vote was necessary, given that "consistent engagement" with Barclays had failed to yield results. - Guardian

Four former Barclays executives have appeared at Southwark crown court and pleaded not guilty to charges brought by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) in relation to a £12bn rescue package secured by the bank at the height of the financial crisis.
