Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

To put pressure on Iran, they should get help from the safe heaven, Dubai where many of the transactions happen.
Off course Dubai like Iranian money more than Iran's government or the west.

Aldwick,
You say, "The flood gates were opened and its to late to close them".
Close them, the Gypsies have probably stolen them and sold them for scrap!

Mnamreh,
You say, 'Unpleasant to see, as usual'.
I agree with you 100%, but just because the truth is unpleasant, does not mean it's not the truth.
I understand what is happening, and I don't like it one bit.
Most of our current problems are because too many people, especially politicians have for far too long, turned a blind eye, with the attitude of, ' If we ignore it, it will go away'.
I fear very much for the future, not so much for myself, but for my children and grandchildren.

It is not that long ago in this country that 'You might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb' was real life. It is only recently that police forces came in to existance. Before that the populations around to world were kept in line by the excessive punishments if you happened to be caught due to the much greater chances of not getting caught in the first place since there were no police. The Old Testament 'eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth' was a limitation on the practice of excessive punishments by relatives of an injured party, which was common practice in the ancient world in the absence of a police force as we would understand it. The New Testament took this a stage further in taking personal action by the victim out of the justice system even though there was no modern police force at that time. The way things are going at present could encourage a return to Old Testament actions due to the vacuum in the justice system caused by to lack of punishment of real crime as opposed to the punishment of non crime. Other religions show that they are man made by being stuck in a time warp whereas the Bible is always up-to-date even when it opposes the moral disintegration of our country where crime goes without any reasonable punishment and sexual immorality is seen as acceptable or even encouraged.

N,
I like the word "sheeple".
===================
It is interesting how under stress, or pressure the mob go looking for lepers and sacrificial lambs to release their frustrations on, rather than analysing the reason for the stress and trying objectively resolve the real problems in a society.
The present government is demonising certain sectors of society and dividing the weakest into smaller, uncoordinated groups in order to maintain itself in power.
This is propagated by those interested in their own personal advantage, sometimes ignoring the reality that their own "real" well-being depends on the group as a whole.
I have watched "groups" and "bodies" over the years and noticed that the strongest and "ongoing effective" groups were those which were inclusive rather than exclusive.
Picking on various groups to facilitates their own "positions", is analogous to the actions of the Black Shirts Fascists in the 1930s.
------------
Looking at what is happening in the Middle East at the moment with the economic chaos which surrounds it, much of the above may apply.
It almost seems it is a prelude to another war.
I hope not.
