jeffmack - 09 Mar 2007 07:25 - 13550 of 24230

Good Morning, lots to do, early finish today and no work next week. Hi Hip Hooray

Spaceman - 09 Mar 2007 07:28 - 13551 of 24230

Morning all, bit dull in Hastings, but I am off to Norwich for the weekend and its always nice there ...

Socrates - 09 Mar 2007 07:32 - 13552 of 24230

Yes, frayed rope! After I replaced the rope I had a great night sleep, apart from a bit of cramp in the leg. Hence I'm up early, sweeping out the empties and cooking breakfast. I've got some real smoked kippers too, not those modern dipped things, and some kedgeree made with fresh smoked salmon.

Spaceman - 09 Mar 2007 07:33 - 13553 of 24230

Socs, Kippers sound yummy can I have a couple please with a slice of white bread and a nice cup of tea....

Big Al - 09 Mar 2007 07:35 - 13554 of 24230

;-)))

jeffmack - 09 Mar 2007 07:36 - 13555 of 24230

Thats what you miss being in Paris, a nice cup of tea. Builders mug for me please socco.

Spaccie, get your rod out

Socrates - 09 Mar 2007 07:40 - 13556 of 24230

Ooh, company, and so early too. OK Spacie, pair of nice, fat kippers coming up. I'll make a fresh pot of tea, the first one I made at 07:00 so it is a bit stewed now.

Our baker is a good sort, the bread was still warm when she delivered it. I really like her service, there is nothing like a nice hot roll first thing in the morning.

Spaceman - 09 Mar 2007 07:41 - 13557 of 24230

So its rod out and a hot roll? or have I misread something?

Socrates - 09 Mar 2007 07:44 - 13558 of 24230

'Morning Jeffers, mug of tea coming up, half pint size ok. Or is it half a litre? Whatever, its a jolly big mug of tea.
[:-)

Socrates - 09 Mar 2007 07:45 - 13559 of 24230

Spacie, I think he's talking about a fishing rod, but I could be mistaken.

Socrates - 09 Mar 2007 07:51 - 13560 of 24230

Ah this is the life. Nice fresh brekkies, gentle classics playing on the wireless and swaying lazily in the hammock. What more could a body want? No sign of the ladies yet, must be having a lie in, again.

Spaceman - 09 Mar 2007 07:51 - 13561 of 24230

Ah I see ;-)

Kippers were excellent any left .....

Socrates - 09 Mar 2007 07:52 - 13562 of 24230

Plenty, a virtually unlimited supply.

Spaceman - 09 Mar 2007 07:58 - 13563 of 24230

In that case I will have another couple and a bread roll. We better eat all the white bread rolls before bunny arrives and tells us off.

Jeff, re the rod, it would be more a case of going out and buying one ....

Socrates - 09 Mar 2007 08:05 - 13564 of 24230

Spacie, I thought you wouldn't mind being disciplined by Bunny! But don't worry, I'll take any flak over white rolls, they are much tastier than the off white kind.

Spaceman - 09 Mar 2007 08:07 - 13565 of 24230

Socs, youre a very brave man, far braver than me, I would not want to be subjected to bunny discipline especially if she is still upset about the recent rabbit eating talk in here.

stockbunny - 09 Mar 2007 08:11 - 13566 of 24230

Wise choice Spacie - a quick slap with a kipper is a frightening thing ;>)
Morning chaps and chappesses!
Danish, criossants and the frying pan available and kettle's on.

Socrates - 09 Mar 2007 08:17 - 13567 of 24230

Spacie, I draw the line at rabbit eating talk.

Good morning Bunny, good to see you up and around at last. I kept the kitchen spotless for you, I hope you approve. Now, lets discuss this idea of slapping with a kipper, sounds like it could be quite exciting under the right circumstances. Did you ever work in a public school by any chance.

Big Al - 09 Mar 2007 08:32 - 13568 of 24230

Glad you arrives, bunny. The standard of food was plummeting with these 3 in control.

;-))

Socrates - 09 Mar 2007 08:38 - 13569 of 24230

I'll have you know I'm a Cordon Blur cook!
