Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Have your say(30)
TOP Eurocrats are secretly plotting to ensure David Cameron does not win a single concession from talks on the future of the EU, it emerged.
Sources said yesterday that German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy ...............plan to gang up with other EU leaders at a crucial summit in Brussels tomorrow to inflict a humiliating defeat on the Prime Minister in his drive to return sovereignty to Westminster.
Insiders say Mr Cameron will be isolated and walk away with nothing.
EU leaders will refuse even to discuss British objections to a proposed financial tax that would hammer the City of London and cost hundreds of thousands of British jobs.

"EU leaders will refuse even to discuss British objections to a proposed financial tax that would hammer the City of London and cost hundreds of thousands of British jobs."
More like:
EU leaders will refuse even to discuss British objections to a proposed financial tax that would "not" hammer the City of London and "not" cost hundreds of thousands of British jobs.

Sounds sensible to me.
Further regulations or the various international financial services and implementation of those regulations is necessary.
The banks are blamed, but the markets were using their services and probably equally responsible for the present chaos.
-----------------------------------
Also, I think, that governments around the world having to genuflect to financial marketers, is destructive and bodes ill for the future unless the power of the market place is supervised.
-----------------------------------------------
Cameron's attempts to sit on the fence, is more likely to end up with him sitting on his own balls.
========
You can't reap the rewards of a unified Europe, before making a commitment to the concept and be constructive in your actions for its future development.
Instead, the actions of Cameron and his cohort Osborne are seen as attempts at smash and grab, by other members of the EU..
-------------------------------------------------------------
At the moment the Euro-septics seems more like children in a sweet shop wanting candy, but not prepared or able to pay for it..

Russian scientists to attempt clone of woolly mammoth
Scientists from Russia and Japan are undertaking a Jurassic Park-style experiment in an effort to bring the woolly mammoth out of extinction.
The scientists claim that a thigh bone found in August contains remarkably well-preserved marrow cells, which could form the starting point of the experiment.
The team claim that the cloning could be complete within the next five years.
