axdpc - 14 Mar 2007 17:19 - 13668 of 24230

Keaydian, thanks for that this morning.

Need a strong drink, might try some hot chocolate and fresh pastries :-)

optomistic - 15 Mar 2007 07:59 - 13669 of 24230

Early morning tea anyone, kettles boiling, I haven't much time so get in quick :-)

KEAYDIAN - 15 Mar 2007 09:13 - 13670 of 24230

Large mug please.

Socrates - 15 Mar 2007 17:52 - 13671 of 24230

Keaydian, I don't know anyone who answers that description.

Quiet here today, everyone too busy making money I suppose. Perhaps there will be a few in tomorrow when I am on line.

Thought for the day - "The equator is a menagerie lion running around the middle of the earth".

jeffmack - 15 Mar 2007 20:56 - 13672 of 24230

Not me Socs, I will be in your neck of the woods

Socrates - 15 Mar 2007 22:21 - 13673 of 24230

Jeffers, you must be one of the racing crowd then, I've seen your executive jet parked up at the airfield.

Socrates - 16 Mar 2007 08:44 - 13674 of 24230

Good morning all, a fine day here for the Gold Cup Race. There will be lots of posh jets and helicopters parked up at Staverton today. Good day for me to steer clear of the racecourse area as it will be traffic-jam city today.

Yesterday was a very blue day on the market. It would seem that the market correction was incorrect and itself needed a market correction to correct the incorrect correction. Today, I note, the market has started down so it is possible the that yesterdays correction of the incorrect correction may itself have been incorrect, thus requiring a correction of the incorrect correction of the incorrect correction.

That said, it is time for breakfast, don't you think?

KEAYDIAN - 16 Mar 2007 08:50 - 13675 of 24230

That's correct..........I think.

Socrates - 16 Mar 2007 09:01 - 13676 of 24230

Yes, it is correct, it definitely is time for breakfast. I can feel a full English breakfast coming on.

KEAYDIAN - 16 Mar 2007 09:03 - 13677 of 24230

Mushrooms with mine please.

Spaceman - 16 Mar 2007 09:10 - 13678 of 24230

Morning all, any chance of a warm Danish and Latte?

chocolat - 16 Mar 2007 09:18 - 13679 of 24230

Who's Latte?

Socrates - 16 Mar 2007 09:32 - 13680 of 24230

Mushrooms, no problem Keaydian, but sorry we are not allowed to serve mines anymore. Silly health and safety rules.

Who's Latte? It's for Spacie, have you forgotten already Choccy?

I've just had a horrible thought. What if the market correction was correct and the correction of the correction was incorrect, what then!

chocolat - 16 Mar 2007 09:37 - 13681 of 24230

Tippex?

Socrates - 16 Mar 2007 09:43 - 13682 of 24230

I'd love to Choccy, I just didn't know you cared!

hilary - 16 Mar 2007 10:13 - 13683 of 24230

Winter's returning next week, Old Socs. Hope you and Xanthippe have had your flu jabs.

:o)

Socrates - 16 Mar 2007 10:21 - 13684 of 24230

Hi Hilary, great to see you again. Yes, we are both jabbed up to the eyeballs and have pulled our thick socks from the wardrobe. If you don't like cold this does seem the place to be, it never seems to be quite as bad as most other places. Mind you, if you go five miles from here in any direction, it is a different story.

How is the trading story going? Still coining it in? I have at least now got control of my portfolio and started showing blues instead of reds, still got some of the old dogs though.

JStratford - 16 Mar 2007 10:39 - 13685 of 24230

Socs, Contraria contrariis curantur...

KEAYDIAN - 16 Mar 2007 10:40 - 13686 of 24230

So was it correct?

JStratford - 16 Mar 2007 10:45 - 13687 of 24230

Buggered if I know!!!
