It's Saturday morning in Cheltenham and only a few of the Gold Cup revellers remain. Traffic jams return to normal and a relative quiet descends upon this sedate regency town. Back to sleep....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Time for a FEB I reckon.

Good day in Cheltenham yesterday. Great weather until early afternoon but turned a bit grey and breezy for last couple of races. Back to Paris Monday.

Jeff, I looked after Paris for you last week, it was all OK when I left on Thursday evening. Strasbourg for me next week and then back to Paris the week after.

I am amazed at all these jet-set folk, travelling all over Europe to earn a crust. Bring in the Euros fella's, it all helps the balance of payments.
As for me, complete retirement is now in view and I should be a full time denizen of the Cafe from about the end of May. I'm looking forward to that.
Sunny day here in Cheltenham, but cold and blustery so it should blow the cobwebs away,
Yet again I am a lottery winner, failed. I think I shall take up backing horses, at least the odds are better, even if you don't stand to win so much.

Socs, have you ever thought of betting on the stock market?

Good morning Bunny, I'll share a pot of tea with you. I'll pass on the Danish though, just a bowl of sherry trifle for me please. Very nippy here today, I hope you have your fur on.

A bit of blue on my portfolio today, the weather is of course a different matter. Not too bad here, cold with a few showers.

Thanks bunny.
Think I'll curl up in front of the cafes fire today. Anyone who wants to join me for intelectual debate (!) is welcome.

Intellectual debate, Mmmmm. Do sheep know when you are pulling the wool over their eyes?

Depends if they're awake or not.

Any sheep, could be the woolly sort or the metaphorical sort of sheep, like women and fashion or men and football! You choose.

So could it, possible, be a metaphore for women pulling the wool over mens eyes perhaps? Or am I just being silly!

Anything is possible JS. Have another cup of tea and think about it, the metaphore that is, not the tea.

Think I'll stick to thinking about the tea, thanks.

Good move, I will too. Bunny has gone very quiet, I hope she hasn't gone tilt.
