New Biom Technologies (BIOM)

hangon - 16 Jul 2010 15:31

DYOR - - - - - - - - - Biom Technologies mid-July 2010 AIM
This is the new resting place for Stanelco, the wonder producer of starch-based food-trays...only they didn't catch on.Over the last 10 years to 2010 the 0.1p shares traded abour 2.5p then shot up to 24p during 2005 with promise of Tray-Trials I understand. Within a year or so, they fell to new depths and finished at 0.2p Of course they were full-list then and some were held in ISA's hoping there would be a big profit...only now these are distressed sales as the Company slunk off to AIM, presumably "...to provide better shareholder-value"
Perhaps someone closer to the Co. can explain why the new name is Biome
....rhymes with Home. Often it is done to remove the previous sp-history.
Could it be..so new investors can bask in ignorance, etc. I'm not aware of any "change" in fortune for SEO, rather the reverse.
In my limited experience, the longer the name of a company the longer you have to wait for any return...Huh . . . . . .
. SEO had been a terrible investment.
DYOR.
Can Biome be any worse...?
EDIT ( 24April2017)- "just woken up" -me not BIOME - sp is 154, but I note about June 2013 there was what looks like a CONsolidation . . do I recall many LT investors were sold-short?... as I believe the (new share) numbers were terrible! . . . Anyone?

Most of us on this thread are still sitting on big losses from the stanelco/Asda deal days.
but if you forget about the history and look at Biome as a new company with their portfolio of products, at under .25p I think they are a punt. I bought more at .19 a few weeks ago.

baggerbiome - 14 Apr 2011 15:57 - 138 of 644

A punt is a steal.... it's like robbing from the naive to give to the savvy

baggerbiome - 19 Apr 2011 11:01 - 139 of 644

Loads of buys going through

20mln pure buys this is on the launch pad ready for lift off.

robinhood - 19 Apr 2011 11:35 - 140 of 644

Baggerbiome: problem is that 20million shares equate to a value of 48,000- hardly a launchpad in my book-plse wake me up when we get to 200 million shares

baggerbiome - 26 Apr 2011 13:51 - 141 of 644

I am removing ALL my research from here due to the constant personal abuse, defamation and distortions of it posted by:

ptholden

hlyeo98

halifax

blackdown

kimoldfield

cynic

This bunch of abusive retards is the reason MoneyAM will NEVER have a forum worth reading.

I have reported them to support by they do nothing, either because they want to force me to PAY them for the Traders Room or because they are too lazy to do anything. Maybe the people in support are the ones perpetrating the abuse, so as to force people to pay for the premium boards. Either way the service is sh1te and a disgrace to the finance industry. No wonder there is nobody left here apart from morons.

I will continue posting my good research on boards that are run in accordance with FSA and LSE listing rules and the interests of the market, not here where ar5eh0les rule the boards and all decent research is buried under their piles of sh1te.

I have viewed the past six months posts on this {Biom} bb and can not see any postings by you {TopAnalyst}.
You say "I am removing ALL my research from here ", but your name "TopAnalyst" should remain, and I cannot find any reference to such.

Could you please explain, for one of those "morons".
Thanks.
