THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

the leaders of europe are no better than children starting school .
they are completely useless and are certainly not that bright but they will get
there large pensions .the whole eu should drop tools and take to the streets it is the only way forward if you are not up to the job go
.

TANKER - 08 Dec 2011 14:20 - 13715 of 81564

the first thing to do is cut vat by halve .
cut benefits to any one who will not work
stop family allowance after 2nd child
that will get things moving

TANKER - 08 Dec 2011 14:22 - 13716 of 81564

one more thing and the most immportant one
put a limit on pay so no one can earn more than
allowed .if they do not then want to work
so be it.

Increase VAT to 25% and reduce income tax.

School Lib Dem style:

Johnny is intelligent and works hard; he gets 90%. Scott is a waster and gets 25% in the same exam. Teacher Clegg tells Johnny that he has plenty of marks and so takes off half the marks that he gets above 20% leaving him with 55%. Teacher Clegg tells Scott that it is terrible that he has only 25% and so gives him the 35% that he took off Johnny along with 10 % borrowed from from Karl, who is at school in Munich, giving Scott 70%. At the time of the next exam Johnny tells Glegg to f*** off and throws a chair at him. He is sent to a behavioural unit ,which he only has to attend in the mornings, if he can be bothered to get out of bed, and where he gets to play pool and eat biscuits.

Why hit people with a stick if they work hard and earn a lot and reward the lazy?

TANKER - 08 Dec 2011 15:04 - 13718 of 81564

that is spot on the man is a muppet .
in clegg world
it would not be worth getting out of bed .
i say this all claiments should be made to clock on
at 7am and clock off at 5pm
now that would be good .

And so wrote the prophets!

Why don't you arrange a coach to take you and the other Hollow Men of history, Cameron and Osborne, to negotiate for England in Brussels.

I am sure you can give them some tips on how to really _____ up any useful outcome.

TANKER - 08 Dec 2011 15:18 - 13722 of 81564

the best tip for them is resign.and put MARK PRITHARD IN CHARGE

It is interesting to watch the squirming of Cameron. who appears to be in hock to the City.

The idol of the tories with his feet in clay.

Even Zimbabwe appears less corrupt.

Trust in Prime Ministers.

Lets just look at the last 3.

Tony (I'm a straight sort of guy) Blair.
Gordon (No more boom and bust, prudence) Brown.
Dave (The British people should have a referendum) Cameron.

Even this morning, when the Germans and French announced they were looking at a new EU treaty, Cameron stated that, 'As not even one word has is being changed in the present EU treaty, there is no need for a referendum'.

What a play on words. This is a new treaty, so presumably the previous treaty is worth absolutely nothing.

Surely that also means that the UK can disregard anything from the previous treaty that they wish. After all if we are being sidelined, whats the point in obeying the rules of a club, when you are not a full member.

1914/1918 War.........Allied countries won, Germany lost.

1939/1945 War.........Allied countries won, Germany lost.

20112012..........Germany with the help of France (didn't take them long to change sides) win the peace.

My hope for France is that all this backfires on them, as it surely will if Germany get their way.
If the French think they will end up 50/50 partners, they are fooling themselves, big time.

As for 'No Referendum Cameron, this must be the time to man the barricades, and for a third time fight for our freedom.

TANKER - 09 Dec 2011 08:09 - 13731 of 81564

So, Britain and Hungary haven't agreed yet.

Are they so important to wait for?
I think they cannot agree without Hungary, so Britain should make her decision!!!
