Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 26 Mar 2007 11:39 - 13831 of 24230

Ah so, now I get it, thanks Jeffers.

Sunshine now arrived in Cheltenham, lovely, fresh and bright.

Socrates - 26 Mar 2007 12:08 - 13832 of 24230

Bunny, I assume that now you have sold your Redrow holding that you are not intending to use the shareholder perk (1% discount off a new home). Unfortunately I don't hold enough shares to qualify (2500) because it might have come in handy.

stockbunny - 26 Mar 2007 12:13 - 13833 of 24230

I'd love a new home Socs - actually I'd love a home full stop LOL
Sadly they don't sell anything locally under 50,000 ;>)
No I bought them as a profitable turn round, not a long term hold so no worries.

JStratford - 26 Mar 2007 12:57 - 13834 of 24230

Hang spring cleaning... the sun is shining. What could be more perfect than messing around on the river. What's all this talk about shares in here... the only share that's important is my share of lunch. Talking of which...?

Socrates - 26 Mar 2007 12:59 - 13835 of 24230

Chilli and pasta sounds nice.

stockbunny - 26 Mar 2007 13:03 - 13836 of 24230

Chilli normally is accompanied by rice Socs...tell you what chilli and either rice or pasta, depending on whether you are Socs or not ;.)
For the rest of us also available some sea bass with spinach and tomato salad.

JStratford - 26 Mar 2007 13:28 - 13837 of 24230

How about Chilli and Sea Bass?

Socrates - 26 Mar 2007 13:35 - 13838 of 24230

JS
Somehow I don't think that is a good combination, although far be it for me to stop you should you so desire it.

Bunny
I have managed to stop the PC thought police from charging you with "pasta discrimination", they did say though that you must be more careful as they will be watching you carefully in future. Claiming that you are a small furry thing is no excuse in the eyes of the idiots.

stockbunny - 26 Mar 2007 13:46 - 13839 of 24230

How about a female small furry idiot? That might be a description they can relate to.
;>)
JS - hmmm no bass and chilli sounds a bit iffy to me.....

stockbunny - 26 Mar 2007 13:51 - 13840 of 24230

err... you know that feeling when you think I really shouldn't have eaten all those? Well I have just finished a bag of Liquorice Allsorts that I started this morning....I don't normally eat sweets in the morning but they 'called' to me when I was in the post office this morning and I had to buy them....don't normally eat Allsorts as I'm a chocolate person....all feels a bit sweet and sickly now.........
:>(

JStratford - 26 Mar 2007 13:54 - 13841 of 24230

How about chilli and liquorice then? Or chilli and chocolate (if she's around)

stockbunny - 26 Mar 2007 14:02 - 13842 of 24230

Chilli and liquorice........ohh I feel quite sick..........
(heads for the ladies)

Socrates - 26 Mar 2007 14:11 - 13843 of 24230

Oh Bunny, the ladies won't like it if you have a technicolour yawn all over them.

stockbunny - 26 Mar 2007 14:17 - 13844 of 24230

Thank you Socs, I went to splash water on my face, it's not quite that drastic!
LOL

KEAYDIAN - 27 Mar 2007 09:19 - 13845 of 24230

Tea and crumpets on the go.

Danishes and that stuck in traffic.

Spaceman - 27 Mar 2007 09:21 - 13846 of 24230

Morning all, another nice day in Sevenoaks.

Yesterday evening I went to a planning hearing to see if they would approve our scheme for a new house in Norfolk, it was a bit hair raising as the 6 schemes before ours all had a hard time and 2 were rejected against the planning officers recommendations and even the ones that were accepted were not unanimous. However ours was accepted unanimously even though the deputy chairwoman and one of the planning committee members are also parish council members and the parish council had objected to the scheme as 'not in keeping with the area'... I have to say attending the meeting gave me a far better impression of the planning system, I was very impressed with their dedication and the serious and thorough way that they considered each application.

jeffmack - 27 Mar 2007 10:03 - 13847 of 24230

You wouldnt be saying that if they had turned you down.

Spaceman - 27 Mar 2007 10:05 - 13848 of 24230

Jeff, I was wondering about that as well ;-) But I dont think I would have blamed them.

stockbunny - 27 Mar 2007 10:43 - 13849 of 24230

Morning all :>)
Tea's ready!
I've got a pile of ironing to tackle so Socs is on lunch duty ;>)

JStratford - 27 Mar 2007 10:58 - 13850 of 24230

Morning all, so whats for lunch Socs :-)

Bunny, if it makes you feel any better whilst you're ironing, I've got to get back to the spring cleaning I've been putting off. Bet you finish before I do!
