Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

Rf, you would have had to have been VERY quick to pick up stock sub 150p, even if you could have traded. Also don't forget we thought the news was going to be bad & therefore a further fall was possible.

The RKH management were quick to respond with a good RNS and great news confirming the API at 26.3,never seen a tree shake like that and there are a lot of people who have got burnt very badly and I hope the FSA are aware of what has gone on today and will look into it..

Don't hold your breath for the FSA - the biggest toothless quango you've ever seen. Even if you stole something right in front of their noses they wouldn't pick it up!

Those with a stoploss will have been slaughtered because they will have been stopped out at 140 or 150p....I bet they are cursing...
