Haystack - 19 Nov 2008 16:22 - 140 of 974

Gausie - 19 Nov 2008 16:24 - 141 of 974

ouch - will be closing or reducing in the auction (depending on uncrossing price)

Dil - 19 Nov 2008 16:28 - 142 of 974

Just had to be bloody greedy didn't you.

tabasco - 19 Nov 2008 16:31 - 143 of 974

JeffM&S pulled the plug on their shops abroadlogistic costs was partly blamed.when M&S had a shop in Nice it was heaving.. C&A down the road wasnt the French are stylishthe Belgians aintthey would buy corduroy trousers in purple if they were cheap.C&A took on the best of British and lost completely in 2001.accumulated losses of 250m in the UK over the previous five yearsSorry no contest!

Gausie - 19 Nov 2008 16:35 - 144 of 974

Reduced @ 200p for a small loss.

tabasco - 19 Nov 2008 16:49 - 145 of 974

Gausie.you trade for the buzz and not for the money imho.what would you prefer to risk ten 10,000 punts on 1/10 chances or one 10,000 punt on an even money chanceYour strategy requires the backing of a high percentage of winners at very small marginsa Bookmakers dream punter.

Dil - 19 Nov 2008 16:52 - 146 of 974

That 1 in 10 chance was at worst 1/2 and with a risk reward factor of a minimum of 3:1 tabby depending on where you place your stops and your profit target.

tabasco - 19 Nov 2008 16:58 - 147 of 974

Dil dont nit pickyou are too shrewd not to know what my example was getting at
Punting in that style you have got to call a lot more winners to keep in front.

Dil - 19 Nov 2008 17:03 - 148 of 974

No you don't.

jeffmack - 19 Nov 2008 17:08 - 149 of 974

Tabby
spot on about the Belgiums

tabasco - 19 Nov 2008 17:14 - 150 of 974

Dil I made a hole host of punts before PG made his offer for M&SI cashed a large proportion at over 7 and over 6 making a tidy killing.that long investment covered for many possible mistakes if they were to occur.same mdx.bvicand so onI am not saying I dont trade.. as you know I dobut believe me the investments are for doughthe day trading is primarily for fun.happy to make small profit or levels.

hilary - 19 Nov 2008 17:16 - 151 of 974

The Belgians are crazy drivers. As a result, both of my kids knew what a dickhead is from a very young age.

tabasco - 19 Nov 2008 17:23 - 152 of 974

Nice to see you back Hilary.the French are worse drivers nutters! The Belgians do have SPA the F1 drivers favourite circuitbut little else.

hilary - 19 Nov 2008 17:29 - 153 of 974

I never actually went anywhere, Chilli, it's just that the whiff of all the testosterone on the other thread was a bit overpowering.

tabasco - 19 Nov 2008 17:37 - 154 of 974

Hilaryif the whiff of all the testosterone was a bit overpowering try Lyon peripheral in a rain storm.I didnt know that there were so many types of sounding hornsthe old finger went up and down more often than the pistonsgot the heart pumping nicely!

Gausie - 19 Nov 2008 21:24 - 155 of 974

Tabby - you really are full of shit aren't you? I'll bet you're quite big too. Couldn't fit all that shit into a dwarf.

Opening a position @ 204.25 with a stop @ 200 and a target at 240 needs a high percentage of winners?????? Fool. looks like a 4/36 or 1:9 to me. I've lost 3 points on M&S in the last week, having won 14 points the week before. How's your MKS position done in the same period?

jeffmack - 20 Nov 2008 07:41 - 156 of 974

M&S IS FORCED INTO RESHUFFLE AS DAVIES QUITS

George Davies is to step down as chairman of the Marks &

Spencer Per Una clothing range next month. His daughter

Melanie, a Per Una director, will also step down. The moves will

trigger a wide reshuffle at M&S's clothing units, with Helen

Low, a designer at the retailer's women's wear division, to take

on the role of designer for Per Uno. M&S executive chairman Sir

Stuart Rose said: 'It's just business as usual.'

tabasco - 20 Nov 2008 08:35 - 157 of 974

GausieI dont want to get dragged into one of your games but you really are becoming an aggravating little shitfirst on the insults I am 6ft 12st 5lbs and not a fat rugby player.secondly if you measured previous positions on M&S you would lose by an embarrassing chasm.[2 to 7+ over several years] thirdly your system will be triggered more times than Roy Rogers in this climate204.25 with a stop @ 200.and trading since 1997.still you are a good tax payer!!! FFSyou should present jackanory. Now I am going to toddle off to Canterburyso you can write another load of shit without response. The mans insane?

Dil - 20 Nov 2008 09:28 - 158 of 974

Don't rush back.

Gausie - 20 Nov 2008 11:16 - 159 of 974
