THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Re: Post 14011.

"Is Eurostat a government funded body. Because I travel in europe for my job and believe me when I say that this report is crap. Go to Germany and see the standard of living there much higher than the UK. Denmark and Sweden are much more stable and the standard of living people have is very comfortable indeed. So I reckon this is just another government sponsored brain wash campaign... And as usual AOHell are pushing it."

.. Sounds about right.

skinny - 14 Dec 2011 10:33 - 14021 of 81564

Stan - hence my "you heard it here" - I wouldn't give the report much credence.

Stan - 14 Dec 2011 10:35 - 14022 of 81564

Aids.

The figures are more or less what would be expected.

Now apply yourself to why.

===========

What worries me, is that if the economy dives even more, and "true" unemployment goes up, how much more "civil" unrest will be generated and what form it will take.

I do not believe the story above. The NUS has political agendas to push.

ex the simple truth is that progames like the ex factor have blinded the youth of today living in a dream world .

skinny - 14 Dec 2011 11:07 - 14029 of 81564

"The NUS also says students are turning to gambling and taking part in medical experiments to fund their studies." So what's new?

Fred1new - 14 Dec 2011 11:08 - 14030 of 81564

Tanker,

I hope you have left enough room for them.
