AFC Energy plc (AFC)

kimoldfield - 08 Jan 2018 11:41 - 1402 of 1468

I think they have merely increased the size of the jar for the jam tomorrow!

VICTIM - 19 Jan 2018 07:20 - 1403 of 1468

RNS , QNL out and a lot more detail this time sounds much more promising in fact encouraging , possibly time to think about buying some more , as it's so low .

greekman - 19 Jan 2018 07:27 - 1404 of 1468

For a change I am 100% (almost) happy.

skinny - 19 Jan 2018 08:47 - 1405 of 1468

Blimey!

If they can follow up with some inspiring news soon , as opposed to their earlier non committal attitude things could start to look good here , " if ".

VICTIM - 07 Mar 2018 08:03 - 1408 of 1468

Results out today and much of a muchness really , but as they say , one small step for man , one giant leap for mankind .The end of month should give us QNL , unless it's late of course or even if he can be bothered with it , anyway keep your chins up .

greekman - 07 Mar 2018 12:20 - 1409 of 1468

Lets just hope that the Saudi and the UK signings of business deals today (could be up to $100, billion) includes a small slice for AFC.

VICTIM - 07 Mar 2018 16:03 - 1410 of 1468

Seems to be looking more favourable , but as said need orders etc .

greekman - 07 Mar 2018 16:24 - 1411 of 1468

Couldn't agree more Victim, no matter how good the future looks for AFC we have seen so much good news, followed by an up/down sp that only orders will see stability.

greekman - 08 Mar 2018 09:13 - 1412 of 1468

Remember this from several (many) months ago.

A joint venture between AFC Energy and Dutco is expected to cover the deployment of AFC Energy’s fuel cells across the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar and Kuwait.
Based on initial estimates from market soundings already undertaken in the region individually and collectively by AFC Energy and Dutco over recent months, this could present an opportunity on its own to deliver a large percentage of, if not in excess of, AFC Energy’s stated target for 1GW of fuel cell development by the end of 2020.

Now this from yesterdays meeting between the Saudi's and the UK government.

The first key panel session of the Saudi/UK CEO forum will be exploring common ground for the implementation of vision 2030 which includes clean energy and less reliance on oil.

So exploring common ground must surely equate to clean energy/AFC fuel cells.

cynic - 08 Mar 2018 10:11 - 1413 of 1468

believe AFC is out of icu when you see it
for now it looks to be there for a very long time

VICTIM - 16 Apr 2018 12:47 - 1414 of 1468

CFO buys 270,000 shares at 11 ish p , QNL due soon if at all anymore , we don't know though do we cause no fecker wants to tell us suckers do they , you ignorant bunch of secret service type people .

greekman - 17 Apr 2018 07:14 - 1415 of 1468

As the CFO has purchased shares, then presumably the are no contracts due in the next few weeks.

cynic - 17 Apr 2018 08:37 - 1416 of 1468

and investing £30k is hardly a big deal either
AFC is not as terminal as IMM but its pulse scarcely inspires confidence

VICTIM - 24 Apr 2018 08:00 - 1417 of 1468

AGM today and i thought the QNL would have been released as a courtesy to shareholders , hope this man gets some serious abuse today , he deserves it , if not satisfactory can see this drifting even lower .

greekman - 24 Apr 2018 08:14 - 1418 of 1468

With just over 31 months to go till end of 2020, that 1GW looks impossible. I hope that this now pie in the sky looking target is questioned at the AGM (as I am sure it will) along with someone pointing out that a QNL should come out every quarter and not a quarter and a week or two.

This company is looking more and more like a typical AIM company, full of big promises, lots of fund raising accompanied by treating shareholders like mushrooms.

Updates are required on just about everything promised, but not delivered.

As the QNL has not been released pre AGM and that as nothing sp sensitive can be released at the AGM the sp is looking likely to close today sub 10p (a phycological line) and if it does without news tomorrow it could end up in free fall.

I have quite a lot of money ridding this share, but not a life altering amount as some people must have. So as annoyed and fed up as I am with lack of news/action there must be many out there far more concerned than myself.

As Mulder and Scully say. 'The truth is out there', pity it's not shared.

VICTIM - 30 May 2018 12:22 - 1419 of 1468

Well here we are , non the wiser again unfortunately , wonder if the staff at this Co actually talk to each other , or is it Co policy to keep stum , today ten times the buys as sells but down , wonder if something in the offing , like we need more money please .

VICTIM - 30 May 2018 12:27 - 1420 of 1468

Any Bletchley Park code breakers out there maybe , come out of retirement for us .

VICTIM - 13 Jun 2018 08:03 - 1421 of 1468

Well below 9p now , no surprise really considering the useless management we have , wonder how Ervington Investments feel now after all this time .
