THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I do not believe the story above. The NUS has political agendas to push.

"The NUS also says students are turning to gambling and taking part in medical experiments to fund their studies." So what's new?

Exec,

Many prostitute their talents ways in different ways.

The problem of much youth of today, is the lack of awareness of long term consequences of their actions. Going for immediate gratification with little satisfaction.

But "morality" has changed, or been perverted rapidly over the last 30years and what was wished for in the 60s and 70s as"liberalisation" has returned in a different form of shackles.

I don't like "censorship" but sometimes I wish the "glam" and "glitter" purveyors would restrict themselves.

(That is. it can only be shown on TV etc, if it lives up to my "standards" of good taste.)

(I could hear my mother's voice when I typed that 8-) )

That's the way to do it! ndonesia's Aceh punks are forcibly shaved by police

Dozens of young men and women have been detained for being "punk" and disturbing the peace in Aceh, Indonesia's most devoutly Muslim province. They are being held in a remedial school, where they are undergoing "re-education".

aldwickk - 14 Dec 2011 13:10 - 14042 of 81564

Fred

" Now apply yourself to why. "

Only 42% of those charged were white, 46% black, 7% Asian and 5% were classified as "other".

Labour's uncontrolled immigration.

Two-thirds of the young people in court were classed as having some form of special educational need, compared to 21% for the national average

Result of Labour's eduction fiasco , what did they say when they first came to power " Education , education "
