jeffmack - 05 Apr 2007 08:50 - 14053 of 24230

Morning BL
But you know you only get confussed

Bluelady - 05 Apr 2007 08:53 - 14054 of 24230

Hi jeffmack,

confussed......you are making me confused, I think I better find out the meaning of confussed, lol.

stockbunny - 05 Apr 2007 09:17 - 14055 of 24230

Morning All - tea's on and usual morning munchies available, I'll be in after I've finished unloading your easter eggs out of the van - they will be strictly on a first come, first served basis and as long as no-one walks off with half a dozen there will be enough to go round everyone :>)

chocolat - 05 Apr 2007 09:19 - 14056 of 24230

You sure you could fit enough in the van to go around Spacie?

stockbunny - 05 Apr 2007 09:22 - 14057 of 24230

Damn if they have to go round Spacie I'll have to get some more!
(roars off in van into the distance......)
;>)

KEAYDIAN - 05 Apr 2007 09:22 - 14058 of 24230

Good morning everyone. A bright warm start here in the city

Tea and danish please if the fresh ones have arrived.

I'll be at Old Ship, Hammersmith tomorrow watching the boat race go by. If anyone fancies a beer just look for the tall one.

chocolat - 05 Apr 2007 09:23 - 14059 of 24230

By the way Blueie, confussed is correct - jeffie's an adopted Parisian now.

Bluelady - 05 Apr 2007 09:36 - 14060 of 24230

Hi stockbunny- that is very kind and thoughtful of you, particularly in buying more of them just in case there is exceptional demand.

Hi chocolat- Interesting, but I bet he speaks english when he is at home, that must make his brain confused!!

Hi jeffmack- say something thoughtful and kind in French, just for us females.

Morning Keaydian- trust you have a good time tomorrow.

Spaceman - 05 Apr 2007 09:45 - 14061 of 24230

Morning all, nice day in Hastings.

Bluelady, Jeff is a fellow member of the Paris trading club, we tend to look after each other.

Chocky,
You sure you could fit enough in the van to go around Spacie

very unlikely ! anyway I sneaked into bunnys van and ate most of the eggs on the way in, a lot of the boxes are empty ;-)

Jeff, by the way have you fished at Taverham Mill or the pits or maybe at Costessey mill?

jeffmack - 05 Apr 2007 09:54 - 14062 of 24230

Merde

stockbunny - 05 Apr 2007 09:55 - 14063 of 24230

(screech of tyres...door bangs...more unloading in progress....)
Oh I see Empty Boxes! Spacie!
Right...Back to the Wholesalers! Have to make sure there's enough eggs as the official Easter Bunny, I don't know no rest for the wicked.....
(door bangs, engine starts and van disappears into distance again)

jeffmack - 05 Apr 2007 09:56 - 14064 of 24230

Spacie
None of those, although I've always fancied a dabble at Taverham Mill

chocolat - 05 Apr 2007 10:01 - 14065 of 24230

Merci jeffie :)

Bluelady - 05 Apr 2007 10:10 - 14066 of 24230

Hi jeffie,

I write 'say something thoughtful and kind in French, just for us females.'

You respond with merde.

I think :0(. We were never allowed to say that at school!!!!

jeffmack - 05 Apr 2007 10:40 - 14067 of 24230

BL
I will open my French Phrase book and write what I see.

Combien ca va couter

Le kilometrage est-il compris

Bluelady - 05 Apr 2007 11:03 - 14068 of 24230

Hi jeffie,

Combien va coer - a briliiant phrase.......When are you going to take us shopping.... since you are asking whether mileage is included....the next phrase should be..........

"Je voudrais louer une voiture."

I take it you don't need too much french at work.

jeffmack - 05 Apr 2007 11:07 - 14069 of 24230

It would be useful as all the meetings I go to in French. If they need my advice they have to ask in English.

I am learning a little......slowly

stockbunny - 05 Apr 2007 11:09 - 14070 of 24230

Key phrase for JM
1. Please wipe your nose and stop sniffing.
2. I would like a double order of the liver for lunch
;>)

Bluelady - 05 Apr 2007 11:17 - 14071 of 24230

That might explain why you have learnt merde without the use of the phrase book ;0).

I did an 'O' level and 'A' level in french but obviously most of my french nowadays is found on google and not in my head.

KEAYDIAN - 05 Apr 2007 11:39 - 14072 of 24230

Em, this little chat maybe all nice and cosy but I'm still waiting for my tea.
