Hopefully the frustration can be got rid of in deep waters, yatch, boat, dingy, or plain swimming.

Yep. Warning people about the actions of serial rampers is probably the work of a muppet whilst filling many pages of this thread with such gems as kerching, yeeha etc is the work of a financial genius. Well done, I'm very proud of you.

On a serious note and in an attempt to stimulate something that may resemble debate rather than pish that normally is posted on here, how can anyone think that drilling off the coast of Puntland be a good idea? I refer, of course, to the economical / security situation in that part of the world.

I would like to think if you read through this thread you will pick up a full account of rrl. Off the coast?

I invest in a company that I trust they will decide if its safe . If we strike all the big boys will be in there. Pl has a very good relationship there.

It is, as good a bet as to wondering which company will go bust tomorrow. I would like to suggest that PL has a very good idea on the security situations in depth more than we could imagine.

Why have you picked the off coast, when infact 1st we are drilling on land? We may never drill off the coast, Pl has stated this.

He would not be there, I am sure if it was. The whole world is watching close and China. (cnoc)

My guess this will only be proved up and then sold on to the big boys.

I still think TT will be the company maker, if not a close second.

DC - I'm afraid I'd rather boil my head than read through this thread in a search for any relevant information.
'Off the coast' = my mistake, I was under the impression Africa Oil had an intent to drill on and off shore. But, the main thrust of my comment remains, there isn't much in the way of security in this region.
'The SAS are there now' Really? Doing what, protecting RRL employees?

ptholden, Do you hold this stock? I find it strange you come on this site and ask a question about drilling off the coast. To mean the sea. Did you mean on the coast . To
mean land. I find this a strange question, when in fact we are drilling Puntland on land.
If i have not grasped what you have asked please say. Otherwise I would ask do you know your facts?

DC read post 1421, it answers your question. Perhaps you would like to explain your SAS comment?

I do not see what you are getting at. To me I have taken a life changing (I suppose gamble) if it comes off thankyou, if not oh well. Not the end of the world.

They are there to protect drilling staff. Not my problem
