Morning all and welcome bluelady

Large cup of black coffee please, been a long weekend

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 10:09 - 14123 of 24230

Hi Fundamentalist,

Here is your large cup of black coffee. Thanks for the welcome. For someone with such a long poster name you sure have an interesting location ;0).

optomistic - 10 Apr 2007 10:11 - 14124 of 24230

Morning Fundy,
Large pot of tea will be OK for me, my weekend was mostly spent sorting out next years vegatable supplies....digging, bit achy this morning.

Fundamentalist - 10 Apr 2007 10:13 - 14125 of 24230

ta very much bluey (can we call you bluey?)

mine was spent trading the cricket and US masters then an all day pool competition (and a beer or two with it!)

Spaceman - 10 Apr 2007 10:19 - 14126 of 24230

My gardening last weekend consisted of playing with my new chain saw, I cut down two trees and converted them into logs.

I am scared of the chain saw ......

Fundamentalist - 10 Apr 2007 10:21 - 14127 of 24230

You had trees that needed chopping down and didnt get K to do it for you ?

Spaceman - 10 Apr 2007 10:23 - 14128 of 24230

Fundy, well I did think of that but I thought he might have chopped all the trees down and probably the house as well.....

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 10:23 - 14129 of 24230

Morning - please Spacie don't let Keaydian borrow your new toy! It's taken ages to repair the porch since he went nuts with the axe, a chain saw just don't bear thinking about! LOL
Cuppa fo me - I trust everyone had a lovely Easter and ate too much chocolate ;>)

Spaceman - 10 Apr 2007 10:26 - 14130 of 24230

morning bunny, cuppa and danish are on the bar...

no chocolate for me this easter ;-( although I know one of our friends gave me an easter egg, however she made the mistake of giving it to Mrs S to give to me and Mrs S kindly gave it to my Nephew!!!

Now when the friend rings I have to thank her for the easter egg and pretend how much I enjoyed it even though I never even saw it .....

Is that fair ???

optomistic - 10 Apr 2007 10:28 - 14131 of 24230

Spacie, I got a chain saw, great fun but I've run out of trees....sharpened the chain ready for when I find some more though :-)

KEAYDIAN - 10 Apr 2007 10:29 - 14132 of 24230

Did someone mention chopping?

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 10:33 - 14133 of 24230

Ok I am back, managed to get back into my Barclays account so I got a little sidetracked watching my shares go up and down by the second, lol.

Optomistic, that's a great solution having a large pot of tea all to yourself.

Fundamentalist, you call me what you like as long as you know I am a female. When I get to know you better I'll call you your shortenend name, ;0).

Stockbunny, I had a lovely Easter thanks and I love chocolate. Cup of tea or coffee?

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 10:33 - 14134 of 24230

Ah Spacie, thats not fair! :>(
However, there's a spare easter egg in the bottom cupboard by the wine rack that you can have, can't have an easter with no chocolate!

Now you two have done it - you've woken Keaydian up............
I'm taking my danish and cuppa out onto the porch, whilst it's still there!
;>)

optomistic - 10 Apr 2007 10:33 - 14135 of 24230

No K definately NOT you have imagined it, we have loads of logs....have another cup of tea :-)

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 10:33 - 14136 of 24230

Morning Bluey :>)

Spaceman - 10 Apr 2007 10:33 - 14137 of 24230

Keaydian, NO .....

Opto, yes they are fun but still scary.... I have a lot of trees but some of them are very big and some of them have preservation orders on them...

By the way I saw some trees the other day in Suffolk, you could try a tree hunt up there ...

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 10:34 - 14138 of 24230

Trees should be hugged not chopped! A banner stating this seems necessary - I'll get one done............

optomistic - 10 Apr 2007 10:35 - 14139 of 24230

Spacie, must be nearby, my extension cable is only 12 mtrs long.

KEAYDIAN - 10 Apr 2007 10:37 - 14140 of 24230

Don't mind if I do, thanks Opto.

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 10:38 - 14141 of 24230

Trees Should Be Hugged And Not Chopped!
