THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Skinny,

Very old.

(The village was not in debt.)

(Individuals of the village were in debt to one another.)

(Members of the village produced of provided satisfaction to one another.)

Etc.

Hovever, the joke has similarities to Cameroon's economics and his "big society".

Have a good one Tanks... And bring us back a curry.

Fred1new - 16 Dec 2011 14:32 - 14131 of 81564

Exec,

It is on wires.

I can see it sticking out of his back pack.

Actually, just like the last time I rode a bike.

Isn't that like coal's to Newcastle , or should that be Birmingham.

aldwickk - I know that chicken tikka massala was "invented" in Scotland, but I thought vindaloo originated in Portugal?

skinny - 16 Dec 2011 16:01 - 14137 of 81564

Partridge - I've just had a quick look at Dialight - I see what you mean!

partridge - 16 Dec 2011 16:11 - 14138 of 81564

Skinny- I like to invest in what I believe to be quality businesses, many of which I have followed for a very long time. First researched Dialight a couple of years ago, as LED looked to have good prospects, but track record did not match up to my hopes and I gave it a miss. Think the management has since proved me wrong!

skinny - 16 Dec 2011 16:13 - 14139 of 81564

Yes I like your approach - as an aside, MKLW came up on my alerts earlier as the bid dropped below 288.

Your right http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vindaloo

Aldwickk - it was the answer to a quiz question at my local a couple of seasons ago - not that that made it right :-)
