Re: Trees. Can I point out that hugging trees is not in my experience very rewarding, and remember this is a lad who grew up in the country talking here!

Bremner the impressionist cracked a great play on words (if you can call it that) over the weekend on TV, don't know if anyone lese has heard it, probably have as unless its EastEnders I tend to be behind the latest TV offerings generally...
anyway, a certain Middle Eastern leader in the news considerably lately with a name that if said quickly can convert into "I'm-a-dinner-jacket" with ease LOL
Well it tickled me.......

Hi J Stratford,
Big LOL. I have a DVD Rental gift voucher you can I have, 3 months free rental. Might be worth considering. On second thoughts a young man like you shouldn't be encouraged to watch too many films!!!
So you are now a lad who talked to trees in the country and yes I am teasing you.

Bluey, have to say that I do tend to listen to my parents advice, particularily now - don't always agree, but most of the time respect.
Having said that, you may know advice (from anyone) to be good, and you may know that you should follow that advice, but you also know that you're not going to. Part of the fun of life...
Fruit cake anyone?

Bunny,
Just seen your post about eBay from before Easter as I was away last week.
It's obviously too late now but, imo, the best thing to have done would have been to state your Buy it Now price to the bidder and tell them that they need to pay you via PayPal by x date at which point you will end the listing early. Ebay advise against this approach because they won't get their Final Value Fee, but I wouldn't worry about that. When you end a listing early, be sure to state that it's because the item is no longer available and don't say that it's to sell to a bidder at the current price, otherwise you'll still have to pay the Final Value Fee. You will still have to pay the Listing Fee nonetheless.

Yes pleaseI love fruit cake.
Good to see that Blue (I'll call you Blue as Bluey sounds like a budgie) is sorting us all out :-) No one else has previously been successful, so good luck Blue. Can we all have signed copy of the book when published please.

Fruit cake and mugs of tea are sitting on the cafe counter. Please be warned the cake has come straight out of the oven.

Thanks Hils, as it turned out she still got the item and the wait was only 2 days to the auction end when she got frantic about wanting it there and then LOL
Thanks again and I will remember should this come up again :>)

Hold on a minute.....when I was answering Hils post I didn't read fully JS's post above but something did log mentally at the time, the words fruit cake and oven.....Is this really a male who is capable of cooking fruit cake as well as just eating it?
I didn't realise such a rare speciman existed, outside of the likes of Gordon Ramsey et al....well now a man who can cook....now I like to cook myself but the potential of a cooking and not just eating male....
Brandy please I feel quite faint.....
