KEAYDIAN - 10 Apr 2007 13:44 - 14184 of 24230

I'll get that wabbit one day.

Tis the season for barbecues, sweet chilli glazed barbecued bunny, yum.

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 13:55 - 14185 of 24230

I intend keeping one step ahead of you keaydian - I don't fancy getting squashed flat by a rugby tackle! LOL
Mind you that would mess up the prospect of bar-b-q bunny unless you like pancakes ;>)

JStratford - 10 Apr 2007 14:00 - 14186 of 24230

I used to have a method of cooking that involved oven, wandering back outside to work on whichever vehicle wasn't running smoothly and then going back in to put the smoke alarm outside in the fresh air to stop beeping to itself.

Since then however, I have learned that roasted peppers with a topping of fine melted cheese, onions lightly sautayed coated in ginger, pasta in a delicate tomato sauce with my own special mix of spices (definitely NOT tomato ketchup), and many other sumptuous dishes might not get you anywhere, but at least your stomach likes you.

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 14:17 - 14187 of 24230

Hey we like you JS :>))

chocolat - 10 Apr 2007 14:19 - 14188 of 24230

"... now I like to cook myself" - bet jeffie's just lit le feu under le pot for you, fluffyears.

JStratford - 10 Apr 2007 14:26 - 14189 of 24230

Bunny darling, next time I'm lying there in the middle of the night, awake and trying to understand that part of the universe that no great minds will ever be able to comprehend (ie women), I will remember that a rabbit once told me she liked me...

Who's up for a cuppa?

KEAYDIAN - 10 Apr 2007 14:30 - 14190 of 24230

Aye.

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 14:36 - 14191 of 24230

Choccie - LOL - never thought of that! ;>)
JS - you're welcome, fair trade for a slice of homemade fruit cake :>)

hilary - 10 Apr 2007 14:39 - 14192 of 24230

Talking of feus, I had a visit from an angry French Pompier last week after I managed to fill our apartment and the corridor outside with smoke because I couldn't work out how to use the oven which we left on while we went out for a stroll round the shops for an hour. The rather attractive joint of pork stuffed with salmon got cremated in the process.

:o)

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 15:18 - 14193 of 24230

Hi J Stratford,

You sound very intelligent re listen to advice from parents and quite an adventurer re not going to take the advice due to being part of the fun of life. And an absolute delight re fruit cake, although is that in preparation for Christmas? And just heaven-sent to be able to use your own mix of spices in a dish!!!

Hi optomistic,

You have just reminded me of another variation of my real name ;0). Hadn't been called that one since I was a wee impressionable young female and I adored the male who called me it. He was the only one who had the audacity to say such a variation of my name!!! A signed copy of my book.......now there is a thought.....

jeffmack - 10 Apr 2007 15:31 - 14194 of 24230

Hils
I guess you must be good at other things

JStratford - 10 Apr 2007 15:31 - 14195 of 24230

Bluey; Intelligent? - maybe not, Adventurer? - more like black sheep, Fruit cake? - I just happen to like it, although I can do chocolate if you want, Heaven-sent? - would explain a lot as all the girls I know seem to enjoy being treated like dirt instead of the Princesses that I see them as.

Now is it just me, or are we all sitting here trying to come up with combinations of Opto's name that would leave an impression on a young female?!

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 15:38 - 14196 of 24230

Err I'm not but on balance I think that would be understandable LOL
;>)

hilary - 10 Apr 2007 15:39 - 14197 of 24230

Technical things like ovens are best left to the boys, Jeffie. I won't be touching one again for a while.

:o)

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 16:01 - 14198 of 24230

Hi J Stratford,

You mean to say the females you have met have not appreciated your cullinary skills? I love chocolate in any form so yes I would like a piece of chocolate cake.

In case it was misread, my real name variation (the one of which optomistic reminded me but I had forgotten all about) that was called by the male that I admired, was to do with the budgie!!!!

optomistic - 10 Apr 2007 16:11 - 14199 of 24230

Would it have been 'chirpy' ? ;-)

Kayak - 10 Apr 2007 16:12 - 14200 of 24230

Fat bird? :-)

chocolat - 10 Apr 2007 16:13 - 14201 of 24230

Who's a naughty boy ;)

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 16:14 - 14202 of 24230

Hi optomistic,

No, it was a variation of my real name, ;0) If I went into all my nicknames I would have lost count.
