Tis the season for barbecues, sweet chilli glazed barbecued bunny, yum.

I intend keeping one step ahead of you keaydian - I don't fancy getting squashed flat by a rugby tackle! LOL
Mind you that would mess up the prospect of bar-b-q bunny unless you like pancakes ;>)

I used to have a method of cooking that involved oven, wandering back outside to work on whichever vehicle wasn't running smoothly and then going back in to put the smoke alarm outside in the fresh air to stop beeping to itself.

Since then however, I have learned that roasted peppers with a topping of fine melted cheese, onions lightly sautayed coated in ginger, pasta in a delicate tomato sauce with my own special mix of spices (definitely NOT tomato ketchup), and many other sumptuous dishes might not get you anywhere, but at least your stomach likes you.

Bunny darling, next time I'm lying there in the middle of the night, awake and trying to understand that part of the universe that no great minds will ever be able to comprehend (ie women), I will remember that a rabbit once told me she liked me...

Talking of feus, I had a visit from an angry French Pompier last week after I managed to fill our apartment and the corridor outside with smoke because I couldn't work out how to use the oven which we left on while we went out for a stroll round the shops for an hour. The rather attractive joint of pork stuffed with salmon got cremated in the process.

And an absolute delight re fruit cake, although is that in preparation for Christmas? And just heaven-sent to be able to use your own mix of spices in a dish!!!

In case it was misread, my real name variation (the one of which optomistic reminded me but I had forgotten all about) that was called by the male that I admired, was to do with the budgie!!!!
