A budgie could be fat if it was a forgetfull bulimic.

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 16:42 - 14208 of 24230

Hi Keaydian,

That is brilliant, but not only in my youth was I slim but I still am slimmish. It's all that swinging on the perch ;0).

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 16:42 - 14209 of 24230

Go back to sleep Keaydian! LOL

optomistic - 10 Apr 2007 16:51 - 14211 of 24230

Well behaved K, I feel sure Bunny will give you some sticks to chop tomorrow :-)

JStratford - 10 Apr 2007 16:55 - 14212 of 24230

One large piece of chocolate cake for Bluey... at least my skills in the kitchen are appreciated round here.

Hils, there's rough and there's plain not nice. But if it's all the same I'll carry on being the romantic and treating all women like Princesses, even if they don't like it ;-)

Opto, shhhsh. Don't wake him otherwise he'll be up at the crack of dawn begging for the keys for his axe - just like kids on Christmas morning!

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 16:59 - 14213 of 24230

You do that JS and eventually you'll meet one who does appreciate you, well you must do in the end otherwise its a sad testimony to life today. Now on a more mundane note - I'll have a titchy bit of choccie cake please if I may :>)
Opto - yes looks like he's snoozing in the sun, good job as I've taken my running shoes off LOL

JStratford - 10 Apr 2007 17:03 - 14214 of 24230

One large piece of chocolate cake with extra choc chips for Bunny. I'll just whip some cream up to go with it for you girls.

stockbunny - 10 Apr 2007 17:09 - 14215 of 24230

Thank you and have a good evening JS :>)

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 17:18 - 14217 of 24230

Hi J Stratford,

Chocolate cake was yummy. Too late re the cream so I'll have it in my coffee.

Just one piece of advice re females ;0) When a female says 'titchy bit of choccie cake' it does not mean a large piece of chocolate cake, although I am sure with the extra chocolate chips all was forgiven as stockbunny said thank you.

When a female says something, not only do you have to listen and understand but also interpret the sentence according to the relevant female. And even then it depends on the female's mood as to whether the first time the interpretation which worked and was understood, is the same for the second time but with the same female. When you understand that you can be called ................half way to being married.

JStratford - 10 Apr 2007 17:27 - 14218 of 24230

Bunny, may you also have a pleasent evening.

Bluey, as all of the women here in the cafe are exceptionally beautiful and slim, I refuse permission for any of them to consider dieting. Therefore you will all eat large portions of delicious food that I have taken the time to prepare to mouth-watering standards ;-)

As for interpreting a sentence, I find it better to just say "yes dear", at least there's a 50% chance of getting it right!

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 17:43 - 14219 of 24230

Hi J Stratford,

You will all, starting to be tough on us, eh ;0)

Slightly dangerous saying just 'yes dear' without acknowledging and committing to memory the exact sentence. You've got to remember that most females have instant recall of most things said to them...'you remember when' is how you recognize such a moment!!!

KEAYDIAN - 10 Apr 2007 18:00 - 14220 of 24230

Rugby practise beckons. Until then, bonjour........

JStratford - 10 Apr 2007 18:05 - 14221 of 24230

Bluey, One thing I have learnt - Never Argue. You will always be wrong. Therefore just accept that the female is always correct.

Socrates - 10 Apr 2007 18:42 - 14222 of 24230

Hello all, just to clarify, my first post today was from home before I went to work.

Spacie, I was intrigued by your walk around the moat at Bodiam. Walking on water is a very rare talent. Great place though, I went there once, 1964 it was, I think. Nice castle, be great when it's finished.

optomistic - 10 Apr 2007 18:46 - 14223 of 24230

Socco you must be very tired after such a long day at work. Did you say once you were retired? Was it a typo :-)

Socrates - 10 Apr 2007 23:13 - 14224 of 24230

Opto, yes I am retired but recalled to the colours due to lack of a replacement bum on seat. Hoping to be fully retired about mid to end of May but in the meantime just doing a Ted Heath week. Great thing about being a senior citizen is that I no longer have to pay NI contributions.

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 23:26 - 14225 of 24230

Hi J Stratford - It's not true that the female is always correct.....it's just that surely the male must have either misunderstood the original meaning or worse still, as a very small aside,..........the female has changed her mind. This is of course deemed appropriate to the relevant circumstances ;0).

Hi Socrates- Good evening. I enrolled in night classes shortly after reading your first post this morning- it was aptly named 'How not to reveal a secret under extreme torture'. I have just attended my first class tonight and can now stand on burning coals for 5 minutes with my bare feet!!!! So if you wish to post from work I will not succumb under torture.

KEAYDIAN - 10 Apr 2007 23:28 - 14226 of 24230

I've not changed my view ;O)

Night all.
