Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 10 Apr 2007 23:13 - 14224 of 24230

Opto, yes I am retired but recalled to the colours due to lack of a replacement bum on seat. Hoping to be fully retired about mid to end of May but in the meantime just doing a Ted Heath week. Great thing about being a senior citizen is that I no longer have to pay NI contributions.

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 23:26 - 14225 of 24230

Hi J Stratford - It's not true that the female is always correct.....it's just that surely the male must have either misunderstood the original meaning or worse still, as a very small aside,..........the female has changed her mind. This is of course deemed appropriate to the relevant circumstances ;0).

Hi Socrates- Good evening. I enrolled in night classes shortly after reading your first post this morning- it was aptly named 'How not to reveal a secret under extreme torture'. I have just attended my first class tonight and can now stand on burning coals for 5 minutes with my bare feet!!!! So if you wish to post from work I will not succumb under torture.

KEAYDIAN - 10 Apr 2007 23:28 - 14226 of 24230

I've not changed my view ;O)

Night all.

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 23:32 - 14227 of 24230

Hi Keaydian,

LOL. Did you enjoy your rugby game?

KEAYDIAN - 10 Apr 2007 23:36 - 14228 of 24230

I did Bluelady. Right legs a bit sore but should feel ok by tomorrrow..........I hope.

Bluelady - 10 Apr 2007 23:44 - 14229 of 24230

Hi Keaydian,

You said my poster name, the one I spent ages agonising over so as to ensure other posters would know I was a female as opposed to a male or worse still a budgie. I will ensure there is a large cup of tea for you tomorrow, :0). Trust your leg feels better.

JStratford - 11 Apr 2007 08:05 - 14230 of 24230

Morning all.

Kettles on.

Spaceman - 11 Apr 2007 08:08 - 14231 of 24230

Morning all, bright and sunny in Sevenoaks.

Socs walking on water is easy .......

Today I am thinking of washing cars, currently I have 4 of them, however its very likely that within a couple of hours I will have talked myself out of washing the cars....

jeffmack - 11 Apr 2007 08:11 - 14232 of 24230

Great game last night, even if you are not a Man Utd fan. Could be 3 english teams in the semis, great achievment. Gunners must be gutted.

JStratford - 11 Apr 2007 08:18 - 14233 of 24230

Spacie, Know the feeling. I always find starting with the smallest car and then working upwards helps. That way you feel like you've done more vehicles even if you haven't done the same amount of washing. Besides they're only going to get dirty again.

Jeff, Game? What game?

stockbunny - 11 Apr 2007 08:38 - 14234 of 24230

Good Morning all :>)
Another bright and sunny day, going to grab a cuppa and have a ciggie on the porch in the sunshine, by the way danish and croissants have arrived and a batch of new blackcurrant preserve.

Spaceman - 11 Apr 2007 08:41 - 14235 of 24230

JS, I like that idea, the smallest is very small (Aygo) I will start with that.

JStratford - 11 Apr 2007 08:54 - 14236 of 24230

Spacie, I thought that was a type of dog? Or at least a small handbag! Either way it sounds smaller than my Morris Minor!

Morning Bunny, As usual, you spoil us ;-)

Bluelady - 11 Apr 2007 09:00 - 14237 of 24230

Morning stockbunny,

Trust you are nice and relaxed after smoking you ciggy.

Morning boys- once you've finished talking about cars and football I'll offer you a cuppa...;0)

KEAYDIAN - 11 Apr 2007 09:24 - 14238 of 24230

Morning my little piggies.

Bluelady - 11 Apr 2007 09:31 - 14239 of 24230

Good Morning Keaydian,

Trust that right leg is going to slow you down if WE are the piggies and you are the Big Bad Wolf. However if I've got it wrong here's that large cup of tea I said I'd make for you and I trust your leg is better.

KEAYDIAN - 11 Apr 2007 09:37 - 14240 of 24230

Morning Bluelady.

Leg is much better thank you.

Spaceman - 11 Apr 2007 09:39 - 14241 of 24230

Bluelady, we have stopped, is the tea ready? ;-)

JS, aygo is a nice little city car thats very cheap to run and fairly eco friendly ...

I use it to balance the non eco friendlyness of my other cars.

Bluelady - 11 Apr 2007 09:44 - 14242 of 24230

Glad to hear it Keaydian,

Good morning Spaceman, lol re car it actually looks cute. Here is a cup of tea because you used my poster name inspite of mentioning a car ;0).

JStratford - 11 Apr 2007 09:56 - 14243 of 24230

Spacie... You sound like you have the same philosophy as me regarding cars, apart from the fact that I reckon a 45 year old car is even more eco-friendly! Can't cope with modern cars with all this power-assisted rubbish and front wheel-drive. Give me a big old V8 and I'm happy.

Bluelady, I apologise for the car talk... it is my one weakness. Please forgive me and let me have a cup of tea ;-)
