Sequestor - 15 Apr 2011 09:10 - 1431 of 3002

Aye read it, didn`t move the price though!

cynic - 15 Apr 2011 10:14 - 1432 of 3002

diff point, but yes it was dull, as sp's inability to move out (upwards!) from the current straightjacket with its ceiling of 350/352

Sequestor - 15 Apr 2011 10:20 - 1433 of 3002

which makes you think the price includes any reasonably good news to come?

cynic - 15 Apr 2011 10:25 - 1434 of 3002

no

Sequestor - 15 Apr 2011 10:39 - 1435 of 3002

you being cynical?

markymar - 15 Apr 2011 10:52 - 1436 of 3002

Sequestor take a little and listen to oil barrel Conference here what the bloke is saying then listen to it again. The board of XEL are the best I know very creditable when ever a problem has arisen they have come out and given an interview and explained what is going on.

I have done my sums on this one and have a small house riding on the back of this that the news will be good and I would like to see a minimum of a 1 on the share price.

Fingers crossed the Easter bunny is not long, will be away most of next week so I miss all the games with XEL and Desire so probably not a bad thing, the Gadget show is calling.

cynic - 15 Apr 2011 11:41 - 1439 of 3002

will do marky, but surely nothing expected until end next week - bet it's after markets close too!

Sequestor - 15 Apr 2011 14:21 - 1440 of 3002

Aye I read the Oilbarrel bit and also saw the director bloke who virtually " guaranteed" the share price would double /treble.

Oilbarrel is just that, a barrel full of oligeious utterings, bit like going to the annual meeting of ``The Grocer `,and hearing the boasts fom Waitrose ;still I have made a few bob and still hold some, but someone on the board needs to apply a " scolds bridle".

G`luck anyway, off out for some good fillet for dinner.

11 April 2011
Rupert Cole, CFO at Xcite Energy (LON:XEL), tells Proactive Investors that the company aims to have the reserves report ready by Easter with a view to go for a first stage production in a small part of the Bentley field to move Xcite into revenue.

=======

he's pretty short of time then, and it had better be good after all the delays in getting this report out

markymar - 25 Apr 2011 23:22 - 1442 of 3002

Need some blue sky cynic as that cloud just follows me at mo.......where is my easter egg Mr Cole?

gildph - 26 Apr 2011 13:33 - 1443 of 3002

Yeah this is a bit of joke at this stage - what has it been 4 months...

cynic - 26 Apr 2011 14:14 - 1444 of 3002

it is certainly becoming very tedious and XEL's management needs a kick in the arse and a lesson in the importance of keeping to dates or explaining why it will be otherwise .... saying nowt when CPR promised (yet again) for easter is unacceptable

I am removing ALL my research from here due to the constant personal abuse, defamation and distortions of it posted by:

This bunch of abusive retards is the reason MoneyAM will NEVER have a forum worth reading.

I have reported them to support by they do nothing, either because they want to force me to PAY them for the Traders Room or because they are too lazy to do anything. Maybe the people in support are the ones perpetrating the abuse, so as to force people to pay for the premium boards. Either way the service is sh1te and a disgrace to the finance industry. No wonder there is nobody left here apart from morons.

I will continue posting my good research on boards that are run in accordance with FSA and LSE listing rules and the interests of the market, not here where ar5eh0les rule the boards and all decent research is buried under their piles of sh1te.

Balerboy - 26 Apr 2011 18:22 - 1446 of 3002

Bernard M - 26 Apr 2011 18:28 - 1447 of 3002

Goodbye

cynic - 26 Apr 2011 19:26 - 1448 of 3002

hmm; an interesting reversal of actuality methinks, but do we care? ..... not a lot as someone used to say as a catchphrase

dreamcatcher - 27 Apr 2011 17:49 - 1449 of 3002

There will be a lot of selling, once the report is made public. I think a lot of people will
move to other stocks.
