stockbunny - 12 Apr 2007 08:10 - 14326 of 24230

Bluelady - 12 Apr 2007 08:10 - 14327 of 24230

Bluelady - 12 Apr 2007 08:12 - 14328 of 24230

stockbunny - 12 Apr 2007 08:26 - 14332 of 24230

Oh I'm used to teenagers about Bluey, they're no problem just throws me into temporary chaos when the mouths to feed increases over whats planned LOL

Bluelady - 12 Apr 2007 08:29 - 14333 of 24230

Stockbunny- I guess that is where baked beans on toast is a good standby ;0).

Seymour Clearly - 12 Apr 2007 08:30 - 14334 of 24230

Ahh, lovely cuppa. Work beckons. See y'all.

stockbunny - 12 Apr 2007 08:35 - 14335 of 24230

LOL except the lad concerned hates baked beans but otherwise you are quite right.

Bluelady - 12 Apr 2007 08:41 - 14336 of 24230

Stockbunny- he'll have problems as a university student then!!!

JStratford - 12 Apr 2007 08:53 - 14337 of 24230

Morning everyone. When I was at Uni an absolutly stunning girl was trying to figure out how to cook a tin of baked beans. She ended up phoning her Dad who was in the middle of a board meeting for his company - he didn't know either! I think she ended up with a Pot Noodle.

stockbunny - 12 Apr 2007 09:04 - 14338 of 24230

What's the phrase - all intellect and no common sense LOL

Bluelady - 12 Apr 2007 09:04 - 14339 of 24230

Good morning J Stratford- see that would have cost her at least twice as much and not as nutritious as baked beans. Why didn't she use her inituitive and ask another student, or better still google it in the computer if she didn't want to embarrass herself!!!

JStratford - 12 Apr 2007 09:11 - 14340 of 24230

Bluey, your asking me to explain the thinking behind this girl? Now come on, you should know me better than that after my last couple of months!!!

Bluelady - 12 Apr 2007 09:31 - 14341 of 24230

Hi J Stratford- I'll have to reread your story then ;0). As I said I remembered you for a girl incident, phone calls sent to you in the wee hours of the morning and you thought she left you. You having a long pointless journey and the others consoling you when she wants you just as a friend.....but must admit I didn't read the beginning part.

Anyway, trust me female thinking is something I am trying to understand myself!!!

Spaceman - 12 Apr 2007 09:40 - 14342 of 24230

Morning all from a nice and sunny Hastings.

bunny, you know you should always have a couple of boxes of haddock fish fingers in the freezer...

JS,
I would have told her that you had to boil then in the can for about 45 minutes!

I didnt go to uni but I used to spend a lot of time with my mate Alex while he was at UMIST, I was in one of the kitchens with him once and there was a pompous idiot, who we did not know, who was haranguing everyone about how to eat sensibly.

Eating sensibly I simply not something that 18 year old students did in 1978 (he was ahead of his time!!).

Anyway Alex and I decided to liven up the kitchen a bit so we went back to his room and collected a number of ingredients and returned to the kitchen to cook them, the ingredients were a little unusual, but mainly consisted of cigarette dog ends and orange peel and an egg. We then spent about 15 minutes cooking this lot into a sort of omelette, all the while talking fairly loudly about how nice dog ends were in an omelette and how the orange peel really enhanced the flavour, pompous idiot was literally stunned by this and simply could not believe what we were doing. As we finished cooking and started to serve out the omelette he rushed out to get his camera and some of his mates, we used this opportunity to dump the omelette and disappear. I still laugh out loud when I remember this episode.

stockbunny - 12 Apr 2007 09:44 - 14343 of 24230

Spacie - LOL - now fish isn't a problem neither is veggie as we eat mainly those things but this lad doesn't, can't eat fish apparently makes him sick. LOL
