Hi Spaceman-glad you survived the ordeal. It's even worse when the hygienist says flossing should be done daily WHEN one is actually doing the flossing every day!!!!

Hi J Stratford- I guess this darling of a child did more damage than a dozen non bouncy eggs!!!

Any time Jeffers.

I thought fish and chips would be nice today so I'm off down to the corner chippy at 12:30 to get mine. If anyone else is interested I can bring back a job lot. The local has award winning batter, the fish and chips are truly awful but the batter is great!

Spaceman - 13 Apr 2007 11:48 - 14402 of 24230

2 portions of great batter for me socs, and another mug of tea as well please.

Any white bread available?

Socrates - 13 Apr 2007 11:54 - 14403 of 24230

Fresh and crusty, and that's just the baker's wife.

stockbunny - 13 Apr 2007 12:10 - 14404 of 24230

Two slices of marmite on toast with a cup of tea and I'm off again - byeee...

Antique Fair at the NEC this weekend, anyone going? All good quality, something to spend your trading profits on. As an incentive, you may even bump into me!

KEAYDIAN - 13 Apr 2007 12:22 - 14406 of 24230

Carrot, you forgot your carrot!

Socrates - 13 Apr 2007 13:29 - 14407 of 24230

OK everyone, I'm back with a virtually inlimited supply of fish and chips. Help yourselves to salt, vinegar and mushy peas.

Bluelady - 13 Apr 2007 13:36 - 14408 of 24230

Hi Socrates, I'll let you have some of my batter for some curry sauce. But if it means another journey I'll just be thankful for the best bit of batter!!!

KEAYDIAN - 13 Apr 2007 13:49 - 14409 of 24230

Any pickled onions?

Socrates - 13 Apr 2007 14:36 - 14410 of 24230

Bluelady, the Cafe has an ample supply of sauces, spices and condiments, just help yourself.

Bluelady - 13 Apr 2007 15:04 - 14411 of 24230

Hi Socrates - delicious can I wash up your plate or do you have a dishwasher? Worse still don't say I was the only who emptied my fish and chips onto a plate and everyone else had theirs still in the paper.

Socrates - 13 Apr 2007 16:46 - 14412 of 24230

Bluelady, what a good example you are to us all. I shall make a last cup of tea before the end of the day, care to join me?

Bluelady - 14 Apr 2007 00:41 - 14413 of 24230

Hi Socrates-apologies for the delay I stopped using the computer before I saw your kind invitation. Have a lovely time at the NEC tomorrow. If you find a nice tea caddy for those tea bags please purchase it. Remember to pass the receipt onto optomistic who will kindly reimburse you for your troubles ;0).

Socrates - 14 Apr 2007 12:08 - 14414 of 24230

Bluelady. I must remember that you seem to be up and about after the witching hour. It's usually quite quiet about then.

I'm off now to a garden centre, the cafe patio needs brightening up a bit.

Bluelady - 16 Apr 2007 01:05 - 14415 of 24230

Hi Socrates- I assume you were buying the new lights especially for me due to the late hours I keep. A nice and touching thought, but I would have thought candles would have been more appropriate for me due to the fact that I burn candles at both ends, lol!!!

Socrates - 16 Apr 2007 08:03 - 14416 of 24230

Bluelady
Far be it from me to comment upon what a lady does with candles. However, I must point out that by "brightening up" I was referring to a lack of colourful flora, and I am not talking margerine here.

Good morning to all, anyone interested in breakfast?
