Easyjet - growth to take-off (EZJ)

thestatusquo - 07 Apr 2004 17:46

draw?modeMA=Simple&enableMA=true&epic=EZ

March passenger and load figures confirm growth trend at Europe's main budget airline.

Present share price may provide a good medium term buying opportunity, given recent broker upgrades to 380pence.

Consensus EPS for Sep 04 is 20.7p, rising to 26.8p in 05, and 35.3p in 06. Given the new routes announced recently, these forecasts are probably too cautious. A PEG ratio well below 1, puts this stock in the growth-value category, and well worth holding for the next 12-24 months.

All IMHO.

I find this share so frustrating........there really is every reason for it to continue the strength...what is the problem???? Can anybody tell me??

daves dazzlers - 22 Mar 2005 08:48 - 145 of 159

A nice bit of altitude today after flying at a much lower hight of late.

BarnhamJ - 12 May 2005 10:41 - 146 of 159

Well, I am still in here..........does the meterioc (can't spell that) rise indicate that the results are already known?.....300 here we come.....

BOOBOO - 24 May 2005 09:44 - 147 of 159

Obviously not!...............but I am hanging in.........have a lot of faith in the share............but then again what do I know........I hold TAD....

Global Nomad - 11 Aug 2005 19:18 - 148 of 159

BOOBOO - 12 Aug 2005 21:59 - 149 of 159

Jumped out at 301. Timed it a little late didn't I! If it falls back below 270 I will definitely have another bite. Think it could go to 340. Any views?

Global Nomad - 12 Aug 2005 23:18 - 150 of 159

hi booboo,
hope you can get back in as required...I decided to hold on and see if this break out of the channel that was developing holds and goes higher or returns....not an expert but ezj has been good to me ovr the years....

BOOBOO - 19 Oct 2005 09:53 - 151 of 159

Thinking about it now....but think it will fall further.......maybe 250....any views GN?

Global Nomad - 19 Oct 2005 12:17 - 152 of 159

mmm... I also ended up getting out about a month or so back and locking some profits, still half an eye on these and xaar. not sure where either of them may go... no real capital available at the moment, have decided to pay down debts instead, beginning to see the end of my 0% tarting.

Could be an increase in altitude today .

R88AVE - 02 Jan 2007 22:16 - 158 of 159

Is anyone surprised by the rise in sp in the past few months, surely the finance fundemental alone do not generate this rate of rise. Imminent bid for this company must be on the cards very near future.

R88AVE - 08 Jan 2007 08:33 - 159 of 159

I think there is a connection in sp and traffic stat (released monthly) which has been rising consistently. The traffic stats will give you an idea how well the company is performing, not like traditional way to wait for the trading update or interim which leaves PI guessing. Any positive news always drives the sp up and with the 'monthly trading update' being positive its hardly surprising the sp is on the up.
