THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Are you sure that there are no caravans made in Ireland? Now would that be north or south Ireland?

Tut Tut - Ex-Essex cricketer Mervyn Westfield admits spot betting charge

A former Essex county cricketer has admitted a corruption charge relating to a 40-over one-day game against Durham.

Mervyn Westfield, 23, admitted accepting or obtaining a corrupt payment to aid spot betting on a match on 5 September 2009.

The Old Bailey heard he had agreed to bowl his first over in a way that would let Durham score a set number of runs.

Star Trek-style 'tricorder' invention offered $10m prize

A $10m (£6.5m) prize is on offer to whoever can create a Star Trek-like medical "tricorder".

The Qualcomm Tricorder X Prize has challenged researchers to build a tool capable of capturing "key health metrics and diagnosing a set of 15 diseases".

Any suggestions as to what the 15 diseases would be?

Fred1new - 12 Jan 2012 16:12 - 14426 of 81564

Tim,

Which one are you worried about?

Haystack - 12 Jan 2012 16:14 - 14427 of 81564

Does it have to be to test a person with ALL 15 diseases?

It seems analogous to D&G's command of HMS UK's economy and production of a wreck.

I wonder who will get the blame.

If you didn't buy CSN, have a look at TW.

Have both for quite a while and looking at charts and Fundamentals would suggest that they are good buys for a 2year outlet, (BBY may be better.)

Hold all.

skinny - 15 Jan 2012 10:22 - 14434 of 81564

CSN came up on my list this week - I need to do a bit of research, but the chart looks good and obviously there is the 8.32% yield.

2517GEORGE - 15 Jan 2012 11:40 - 14435 of 81564

Fred, I didn't buy CSN (got enough insurers) as for TW. I follow this one regularly but still feel it's too soon to buy. I also want to keep some cash in case the market capitulates.
